I wouldn’t even know where to find a Husqvarna dealer in Bangkok, so that would be a concern.

As long as the size is ok a harder seat doesn’t concern me, although reviews have mentioned that the seat is surprisingly comfortable.

I doubt I’d be riding any bike I get for longer than an hour at time anyway.

Still not getting a big reliable Honda bike... If I can’t pose I may as well have a scooter... Wave, NMAX etc..

The dealer is in Pattaya.  1992296425_ScreenShot2019-04-11at20_46_42.png.129995f05efe3d6591bd856178412e37.png

I’m not sure changing the oil yourself, or having a local garage change your oil would invalidated the warranty or not. I imagine it would (just in case it was replaced with the wrong oil).

There are dealerships in Nakhon Ratchasima and Buriram which may be closer.

Not sure if there is a dealer in Chiang Mai.

Servicing is cheap and fixed price.

    Also 1 in hat yai

Sure, just wait to immigration had their never ending tradition of monthly change of rules & regulations.

And even better for all expats in Thailand, none of you have to 'suffer' and join us expats in Philippines or Cambodia.

my extension is coming up in May (i go to CW), i'll pay more attention during the process to see what it is they do there.  i thought my bank letter for the FCD account did show a conversion, but i've read here that such letter does not (that may be true, i didn't keep a copy).  i do remember the IO working a calculator, that is for sure.  i'm out of thailand now and not in possession of my bank books but i thought my USD converting to THB got the TT rate, USD coming in via ACH to thai baht account and/or USD coming from my FCD account to my thai baht account.  it is possible i missed a fee of some sort.  i'll be sure to make a report here once my trip to CW in may is complete.

SCB letter shows a conversion, feb 27th

To show the balance at your bankbook, you just do a Bankbook UPDATE (together with the bank's confirmation letter) the same day as your presentation at Immigration.

An update shows the date and the balance of that day.

No need to do any withdrawal/deposit

Not with SCB.   i had a letter but the bankbook didn't update. only to the last interest payment.

jomtien said start everything again,    new letter + update bankbook .

i had to withdraw money to show movement for update.
