You are the guy who fills up containers at the Sizzler salad buffet, isn't it?
I remember that post
Bit of a rough patch there, you know.

Our inside and outside kitchen is customized by our builder, so I built a comfortable house with everything we need, and did not spend more than I can afford to walk away from. Building in Isaan I not an investment. The land itself is an investment for the wife, the house you never get your money back.
The lovely wife? Why should I expose her on the forum? You see how people here are? Jealous bastards who feeds from negativity.
Bread from bakery The Baker at Central Korat next to Tops. Best I found in Thailand
This is home made

I look forward to the end of the month. I keep track of all my expenses, put them into a spreadsheet on the final day. When my cash kitty drops below 40K baht, I visit the bank for more, usually once every two months.
It's also the time I get paid interest on savings. Every six months, I get share dividends, also the occasional opportunistic trading gain.
In Australia, I spend more than I get in income. In Thailand, it's the reverse.
I was recently in the US for 5 weeks. Money flies when you stay in hotels and eat out.

I'm always dissing the disrespectful, nasty, cheap foreigners, they need to be told.
So many here, I'm proudly a record holder for the most thumbs down (50) on one comement.
I'm also proud to be very different to most here, I never whinge or whine, or ever complain about Thailand and their people.
It's the most beautiful country with the most beautiful people.
Bring on those thumbs down, I'm so bloody proud of them. 👍
Must be those broke Brits and Aussies. They're always jealous.

Not me Mr Keel. I am intelligent enough to not spend more than I have available, and keep a track on my family's spending.
I have loads available. I'm just not used to limiting myself or the family. Don't think I've ever tracked my spending.

I blew through some cash this month. Patiently waiting for that next deposit. My little beach community was dead last night so both Thais and foreigners were staying home. The 7-11 was packed though.
I don't have a budget, I just spend. I don't have any house or car payments. Already spent the monthly money plus most of the cash I have squirreled away at home.
Please, no Go Fund Me Ok? I got a stack of USD's but rate is not good right now. Don't worry I'll survive.
So, who else is singing the blues.

Simple. Because they see thais driving around with no helmet every day and never get stopped by the corrupt police.
So, where exactly, a specific location in a specific city have you seen a checkpoint where only foreigners were pulled over and not the Thais.
I never wear a helmet on our MB while riding locally but if I venture out into the heart of the city here I will because I know checkpoints do happen.

I see this in the forums all the time .........
Posters looking down on guys living in Pattaya, elderly, guys living on a pension, living in a rented condo, supporting a woman and her family, men spending time in bars, or smoking weed/tobacco, etc.
Why not just enjoy your own life and stop looking for fault or judging other people?
Can we at least be allowed to make good fun of others home country. Always good fun.

The worst I had was a teacher who would twist your ear for misbehaving. Oh and draw a circle on chalkboard and have student stand with nose in said circle. 555
For those of us expats with some dosh, why send the kid to a Gov school. There are other options for a better education.

Not sure why expats are confused. Just wear a helmet, simple as that.

I trust doctors and nurses who incidentally; wear masks throughout the hospitals, everywhere in the hospital. Because masks stop airborne infections. Please stop using this forum for your looney anti vax campaign. I guess you are an American
because no British fall for these conspiracy theories. They just go to their doctor twice a year to get their free vaccinations on the NHS.
Respectfully yours
I'm guessing you're still wearing a mask everywhere you go. Good for you. My comment was based on facts and statistics.
COVID-19 usually causes mild symptoms in kids — most commonly, fever and cough. Most children recover in one to two weeks with at-home care. But kids with certain underlying medical conditions face a higher risk of serious illness and hospitalization.

As a parent I ask you why you'd give a child an unnecessary vaccine for children.

Absolutely nothing more than a comparison between your snide remark against the ever popular Brit fall guys and mine against you for your generalised disingenuous remarks.
we are not all kiddie fiddlers any more than other genuine people who come to Thailand looking to find love, it could be that Brit’s are not as secretive as other sad mentally dysfunctional individuals and therefore get easily caught, it does not mean that there are more brits than other sickies from other nations, even the Thais have an imbedded kiddie fiddler contingent, so no one should infer blame on one nation only.
I do not under any circumstances condone pedophilia and my mindset points towards extermination given the level of horror that these child victims suffer for the rest of their lives, but no one has the mandate to blame just one nation for such evils.
Great job boring me to death,
