If the cult didn't exist, the Repubs could have a cakewalk to the White House by choosing a non-convicted felon candidate. The cult runs too deep, however. Own goal.

GUARANTEED the convicted felon will become even more deranged, violent and bizarre as we move forward. That is going to alienate more swing voters than the conviction itself. The cult is going to stay with him no matter what, just as members of his cult here are doing. Swing voters, however, are key.

Had the convicted felon not installed his daughter-in-law as head of the RNC, rationality and pragmatism might have entered and Repubs would have dropped him and chosen Haley or DeSantis of someone who could beat Biden.

For first time ever I agree with first sentence.

Seems the more obstacles Trump is thrown the better he does in the polls. Bet the democrats didn't see that coming.

I must add, I trained in the UK, PP1 (Police Pistol 1), you learn the correct procedures and handling of a weapon, even removing a gun from its case has a procedure.

When I watch YouTube vids on guns, USA, I can't believe what they do with them when loaded..................😱........ Completely gives the wrong message to a beginner........😬

In all the years I qualified yearly for small arms. When you took procession, you acknowledged it was  it was unloaded and safe. Clear and safe. And only then did I load the gun. Always Cond 1. Then directly into holster. Never, ever were we handed a gun with a "good to go"

Is this way different? Of course it's different but should be same protocol with more than one person visibly checking ammo before gun is loaded. It only makes sense the actor shooting the gun should have a bit of knowledge of what the dummy rounds are.

If the car is not from one of big rental companies, it probably does not have car rental insurance. (It is different.)

Very few of the local companies here have car rental insurance. They just insure as their own car. If you have an accident, you cannot say that it is a rental.

A close friend of mine fell into that trap last month.

She has rented a car from the same (local) guy for more than 20 years. She rents for three months whilst she is here. He always said that she had full insurance.

Last month she had a minor accident - guy on a scooter ran into the back of her.

She had to pay 10,000 baht to the guy and pay for the repair.

The accident wasn't her fault but because of the wrong insurance...........

This is from a name company at an airport. But, yeah I've heard the same story told from others.

  4. I'll be renting a car for a week. I have Class 1 insurance on my SUV here in Thailand. Just wondering if my Class 1 insurance carries over to rental car. Ask the lil lady and of course she says no can do. This is where not having a conversational level of Thai is a hinderance and obstacle. Because I know she won't ask Insurance a question. It's an extra 459 baht/ day for full coverage.
