Pick a place slightly away from touristy but close enough for the convenience of food and shopping and Medical services. I can make it to Pattaya in 30 min by M 7 but then to the Malls could be another 30 min when traffic is bad.

I worked shifts most my life. Inport I would work each shift 3 days and then have an 8 hr turn around for next shift, 7 days a week. Or at sea it was 4 on and 8 off with OT somewhere in between.

I've often thought the same thing when I see the large ladies. I was recently in the US and portion sizes are enormous. Places like Costco are one of the reasons. Everything comes in a giant package which is much cheaper but also means you eat more of it. Clothes sizes have changed to make people feel better. I used to be an XL and am now an L size in shirts.
