    It's been a couple years but I believe I looked up swift code for New York. My SSA account has US address. Yes, I switched my deposit from US Bank to Thai Bank, the same with my government pension.

    On my visit to US ate at jack in box, most of the customers had no business there. Just large, even the young ones were pudgy. Then you have Costco selling everything in huge amounts. It's just over the top crazy.

    I changed banks using the on line account with SS. I started my SS in the US if that matters.

    My SS is deposited into Bangkok Bank and I have a debit card.

    If it were me I'd simply go the agent route. Around 26k thb the first 15 mos and like 13k thb for next 12 mos extension. Easy peasy
