Well besides lost channels, for ease of use like having an easy to use menu board so the family can find channels easily. I like the idea of saving money with AIS but also want simple.

2 yrs ago I bought a 40 ft connex box in Calif. from a place that's been selling for at least 20 yrs. Cost was 120,000 bht  $4000.USD I doubt they will be much cheaper in Thailand. That would not make baht sense to convert to live in.

First thing that comes to mind, as I'm a lazy ass. Put in a water tank, that way you'll only run the pump as tank level drops. If the leak causes no visible damage, why not??
