    Alot of the meat you see on the stick ready to be BBQ'd in the markets has been soaked in a liquid to keep fresh. Just saying. Just like the cheap street side buffet joints.

    I'm more of a flying fan, We flew to Krabi, rented a car, stayed Krabi for a few days. Took ferry with car to Koh Lanta for some more days. Can take boat to Phi Phi for hotels if you like.

    There's a world of difference between a "Marriott" and a Marriot affiliated hotel. I was there as well at one of the affiliated joints.

    Besides the obvious tragedy. It amazes me that with a phone call she can procure a 10 man assault team ready to kill. 10 guys decided what the hell, let's go beat a man to death. Just because a woman called them. I still have a difficult time wrapping my head around the thought process here.

    My usual weed vendor wasn't open yesterday so went to another place and was pleasantly surprised at the jars of 30 baht/gram. I don't smoke much, a few hits with a beer. I live in a non touristy beach location.

    Says the keyboard warrior. It's a handy tool. Carried one all my working years. Comes in handy.

    That's a big part of it. Used to be a 1200 sq ft home was adequate for a family, now it has to be 3000 sq ft. Growing up I can count on one hand the times we went out to eat, no take out. Now it's a way of life.

    I'm in process of replacing a house that burnt down. A forking nightmare. The cost of licensed tradesman is beyond absurd. And, yes mine is rural property. Just to tap a well could run $50,000. In Calif, one reason is minimum wage in fast food is $20/hr so a person with skills is asking stupid money. I don't know, it seems hopeless.

    For most a knife is a tool. I carry all the time out of habit. I find it amusing how some view a knife as sinister.

    The first time taking my daughter aged 10 on international flight we went to the Ampuur office and they had a form we filled out just for that. It was never asked for.

    I had a new heating furnace switched to propane, the cost was $380. and I already had the new burners. One day's tractor work is $1000. It's crazy how Covid changed things here.
