Silly comment to ignore root causes - just like the destroyer in chief.

How about addressing the points I raised rather than deflection
This is about stopping illegals at the border. Illegals not just from south of the border but from countries all over the world because of the soft border. The illegals circumstance in their home country is not my concern.

You do know Pakistani asylum seekers are seeking safe haven from oppressive Islamists, the vast majority being Christian. Last year trump cut by half the asylum seeker intake into the US, this year dropping to 30,000. In the meantime millions of asylum seekers are waiting years for relocation by UNHCR, whilst trump is also seriously cutting foreign aid for the most disenfranchised. trump has not articulated a solution for the majority of illegals who arrive with a visa, then overstay, only focusing on the optics for his base.
trump's knee jerk reactions are creating the very problems he is attempting to address. trump the destroyer does not have a strategic mind set, just tactical negative responses pandering to the minority of Americans - his base - a loser at large.
Everything is Trump's fault, illegals crossing the border, yep it's Trump's fault. The Border Agent confirmed the border requires more barrier. But, you go on living in your parallel universe.

Mr. Trump just reported from the Border in Texas, one of the Agents in charge said in one day 133 illegals were apprehended from countries other than the usual suspects. 2 were Pakistani. Think about that, The agent was saying in his sector only 7 mi of border had a barrier with 93 miles of open border. Now the question is " How many folks aren't apprehended?

You mean like having, heaven forbid, Social Security and Medicare???
I'm sure Putin and Castro are just giddy with glee and anticipation at the prospect of the U.S. becoming a socialist state...
We have SS and Medicare already. Ms. Cortez is talking in favor of crazy tax rates like 80%. Re distributing the wealth is what the progressive libs want.

Wait till more young folks with mindset of Ms Cortez get involved in government and start dragging the US into socialism. That's where we're heading.

So, seems the most popular left thinking is Walls don't work and Illegals commit crimes at an acceptable rate. They say it's money not well spent while...…... Calif wants to provide Med Ins for all illegals. Same as the wackos in New York who wants to do same. We're talking Billions of dollars.
We don't want to try to keep out illegals, we want to welcome them.

Most of us know that is simply deflection based on ignorance and following the wishes of the Master. But, the facts are the facts. The bottom line is that alot of white, native born Americans are real trouble makers. Not something Trump likes to discuss, as a percentage of these criminals are part of his base.
"As a percentage of their respective populations, there were 56 percent fewer criminal convictions of illegal immigrants than of native-born Americans in Texas in 2015," author Alex Nowrasteh writes. "The criminal conviction rate for legal immigrants was about 85 percent below the native-born rate."
The data shows similar patterns for violent crimes such as homicide and property crimes such as larceny. The study did find that immigrants in the United States illegally were more likely than native-born people to be convicted of "gambling, kidnapping, smuggling, and vagrancy." But as those crimes represented just 0.18 percent of all convictions in Texas that year, they had little effect on overall crime rates.
Why do the illegals commit more crime than the legal immigrants? This is about Trump wanting to strengthen the southern border. I'll put my money on Trump.
Pretty funny watching Pelosi and schumer standing side by side, Libs have to be embarrassed having these two representing their views, too funny.

Really? Then explain how Trump in a strong economy is more unpopular than Obama was during the aftermath of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.

Only a massive consumption of the kool aid that the master is serving, could lead to a statement that is so erroneous, it does not even need to be disputed. Now, if you had said the majority of his base of 38%, that might have been accurate. The vast majority of Americans DO NOT support the wall, which is never going to get built.
Roger stone was frustrated that Trump kept on forgetting to talk about immigration at the beginning of the campaign. He said Trump is a builder. He will remember to say build a wall. Hence the birth of the slogan and the fear mongering. The only terrorist apprehended at the border in the past 20 years was coming from Canada. All terrorists use the sea or come by air. None come by land. None. One in the past 20 years was caught. It is all a total ruse. Not only is illegal immigration way, way down, but if you look at crime statistics in the US, nine times more homicide is committed by American citizens, than by legal immigrants. And three times more homicide, by Americans, than by illegal immigrants. If Trump wants to solve the crime problem in the US, he has to get his own people in his administration and his team, to stop committing crime, then he has to stop committing crime, and then he can work on reforming his base, and then other Americans.
You kind of shot yourself in the foot with those murder statistics, I'll let you figure it out.

Mr Trump gave a short, to the point speech. Wonder how long Pelosi's "immoral" spin on border security can last.

Oh, so Huawei dominates the global 5G network but Trump holds out for the Wall!
The US gives in on the South China Sea but Trump is determined to get $5 billion that will not even cover 100 miles of the Wall!
Forced technology to China proceeds but we're gonna get part of a Wall!
China pinky swears not to steal IP but here comes that Wall!
Made in China 2025 is changed (to Made in China 2035) but THE WALL!
And for those of us living in Thailand who might care, because of Trump's fixation on THE WALL, thus hiding his cave in on China and goosing more debt out of the Fed for his precious stock market: the US dollar has dropped from around 33 baht to the dollar to around 32 baht to the dollar in less than a month. Don't watch Mr. Tariff who turned out to be a surrender monkey. Watch Mr. WALL!
So, no wall funding will fix other problems. just more lefty rhetoric.

This is all a distraction. Just like every other time Trump starts yelling about "the Wall." It will grab all the media attention and nobody will notice that he is about to surrender to China on trade. Watch it. The trade "agreement" is just around the corner and nobody will notice it. All because Trump wants "his precious," the stock market, to continue its path to an even bigger bubble. I am now sick of the sight of this man every time he pops up on television or the news. He needs to go away, quickly.
Works for me, go Trump.

Miss Pelosi is now getting jealous about Mr. Trump's air time and wants the same as well. Course she'll require Schumer standing next to her holding her steady.

Never been asked that at Sakhon Nakon. I've always started using the money once I have the Under Consideration stamp and never asked to show bank book on returning to get my extension stamp.
I bought my Truck and motorbike there and would get my Residence Letter there, 1000 bht for a letter. I think other places it's more in the 300 bht range.

All the talk about how the "Agents" work their magic is sort of like us mere mortals arguing about how a cell phone works. Yeah we kinda know a little but certainly not the entire story.
I'll be staying in Thailand permanently in a year or so and plan on using Non-O ME, and if that gets to be too much, the Agent route seems like a good alternative.

Make travel a pleasure, if I had to decide between a 200bht taxi or the hassle of a songtaw, the taxi wins every time.

How in God's name do you draw that conclusion??? The existing barrier is a good idea, and supplementing it and adding to it in strategic places wisely is also a good idea. There is a whole host of measures that have been discussed that would work for border security, all of them better than this simplistic low-technology wall idea. The wall is symbolic and for Trump represents the ultimate ego stroke.
And that's exactly what Trump himself said recently on TV. he himself said many locations don't need a barrier because of natural barriers. And the 5 billion is just a starter. The only problem with Trump's plan is it's coming from Trump mouth. If we had a Dem president the money would have been approved without all this drama.

Listen to yourself deflecting that guy's arguments.
If extending the barrier is a bad idea, then by default that means the existing barrier is also a bad idea. If that's the case having a Border Patrol monitoring a meaningless barrier is also a bad idea. What's not to understand.

I didn't hear him advocate any of those things. I heard a lucid, well-articulated appeal to reason from a guy who looks like he could be a Trump supporter. He also pointedly refrained from saying "Trump," and referred to the government as advocating the wall through fear-baiting, but we all know who really is behind planting these illogical fears in many American's conscience.
Listen to yourself " from a guy who looks like a Trump supporter"???? What, as opposed to a clean shaven guy in a suit without southern drawl.

So according to this we'd be better off disbanding the Border Patrol because stopping illegals from entering is illogical. We'll stop repairing the barriers we have because after all, what good does it do. That's an outstanding plan.
Or, we can continue to let Trump do what a president is supposed to do like protecting the citizens of the US and the borders. I know what I'm favor of.

Stop beating the drums, and listen to what is being said. You put forth a lot of effort for no good reason. What the major you quoted said is all that's being asked for.
What Trump said yrs back doesn't necessarily hold true today about building a barrier across every foot of the southern border. Find the link to Trump's visit to the border 10 Jan. The Border Agent had some interesting things to say.
