While the long gun in picture is intimidating looking, I'd personally rather have a 12 ga. for up and personal protection. 

It occurred to me the reason many think its OK to trespass and vandalize property is that they have never owned a home.  if you've been a renter your whole life why would you care if someone destroyed the house.

Nothing to do with Trump, for 3 weeks we've witnessed the blm and antifa savages burning and looting businesses, cars, toppling statues, killing innocents. There are consequences for that as we're seeing now. The good folks can only be pushed so far by the violence before they start protecting the things they worked so hard for.

The American Dream isn't over, problem is folks want things handed to them without the hard work. 

I'm happy to see folks waking up and confronting the groups (blm, Antifa)  who are out to destroy America.

It's been about 15 yrs ago I was working on an ammo ship on the east coast. I was the only white with a crew of like 10 guys working in an ammo hold. A Mate comes down to see how we're progressing with our work and the first thing he says is "How's it going boys?" Now the (white) Mate is young like 25, first time doing the job, he meant no harm by it but you should have heard the blacks when the Mate left. "I'll show him boy, and on and on"

I've only steered those on simulators and you're right about the lack of responsiveness especially at low speeds.

In the shipping world there's no age limit. You have the current merchant mariner documents in order and you good to go. We had guys in late 70's doing the job of steering.
