  1. Oh dear, there was no insurrection on January 6, the election was stolen etc. etc. Have you donated to Trump's campaign, just to confirm your allegiance to his "truth"? I guess it is inane and farcical Trump is not in jail already. In most other democracies, he would be.
  2. Perhaps that's because awareness is not part of your skill set.
  3. You'd lose. Of course, you are probably used to that.
  4. It's a pity Trump can't grift selling tin hats to his devotees, but I suppose that would be a bridge too far, even for him.
  5. "No sign of cognitive decline on Trump". Really? Confusing Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi. Biden with Obama. Some weird dissertation on electric boats and sharks. Falling asleep and farting during the hush money trial. Denial is only a river in Egypt for you.
  6. IIRC Biden gave a cogent SOTU address about 6 months ago. As someone who claims to have worked in the nursing field, you should know cognitive decline may be quite rapid. All the Trumpers are beating the drum of Biden being unfit to run again, right from the start of the election year. They don't seem to apply the same standard to trump, who has given repeated examples of cognitive decline since he lost in 2020.
  7. That's as likely as me winning Tattslotto. Narcissistic sociopaths would sooner chew razor blades than do something altruistic, it's just not how their brains are wired. It's all about them. Don't you remember Trump saying " I don't care about you, I just want your vote"?
  8. No, I think my favorite obsession is calling out idiots on ASEAN. It's a rich field of opportunity, as you are demonstrating.
  9. Trump's assessment of Biden is his own. OTOH, most historians rank Trump as the worst in history, by several furlongs. Impeached - twice. Over 90 indictments delivered by grand juries. Convicted by a jury of his peers on 34 counts of falsifying business records. His companies sucked $240 million from the public purse for the 300 times he played golf during his presidency. What other president in US history can come within a bull's roar of that record? Nixon and Clinton were amateurs by comparison.
  10. His response is as predictable as the sun rising in the East, personal abuse. He's already called her a "horrible czar". Perhaps he got that phrase from his buddy Putin. Electric boats and sharks are his contributions to original thought.
  11. I also quoted Putin. Presumably your attention span does not go that far.
  12. I said: " Show me evidence a team of competent people is less effective than a leader". If your response is abuse, and a need for a strong leader, it just demonstrates how weak-minded you are.
  13. If you want strength and leadership, look no further than Genghis Khan or Timurlane. Show me evidence a team of competent people is less effective than a leader. I have evidence to the contrary. Putin is a strong leader to most Russians. He has led the Russian Federation into economic disaster. When you have people saying Shoigu is Ukraine's best asset in Russia, it's not a good indication of the competence of the team Putin has around him. IMO people who want strong kings, emperors or presidents can't think for themselves.
  14. I still don't know what a bell**d is, so your attempted insult is an exercise in futility. Again. The significance of a red nose escapes me. Having said that, I am sure it is preferable to brown - nosing Trump. Checking the number of posts you've made on this thread. you do quite well in the gobby stakes yourself.
  15. What part of the phrase "team effort" can't you understand?
  16. How does he know it's a good thing unless he knows what is in it? IIRC there was some herbal remedy in Australia which poisoned half a dozen people because one of the ingredients, cordyceps, had gone bad somehow. Foxglove is the source of digitalis, a heart medication. I very much doubt it would be wise to start ingesting dried foxglove powder, in preference to a pharmaceutical of known strength and quality.
  17. You've got Blinken, Sullivan, Austin, Yellen and Powell, all solid performers. It's a team effort.
  18. The competent cabinet got the economic numbers going a lot better than many other countries, despite the wailing Greek chorus coming from the GOP.
  19. He held his own well enough in the 2019 debates. To me, his age then did not matter because he had a competent cabinet. Reagan and Eisenhower were not all that functional at the end of their presidencies either. Unlike Trump, who surrounded himself with toadies, and got rid of anyone who dared disagree with him.
  20. A shame you get run over when you try to debate them....
  21. He has to. He can't pardon himself if he withdraws or loses. He can't order the DOJ to stop investigating and indicting his many crimes.
  22. "Propped up a corpse for 4 years". Biden was 78 when he became President. The probability he deteriorated during that 3.5 year period appears to be dismissed by you. Now Trump wants to become President at the same age, when he already shows signs of cognitive decline. If you are saying Trump can't go the same way as Biden under the pressures of office, you are coming the raw prawn.
  23. You have a written statement from Biden, and it's in world mainstream media. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-07-22/joe-biden-reelection-hope-ended-by-age-worries-after-long-career/101359570 https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1e5xpdzkd8o Why should it matter how he resigns? "This is not the way we do it in American government". IIRC Trump governed by tweet from day one of his presidency.
  24. Here's me thinking a bugged out denier of reality is the perfect definition of a Trump supporter.
