I shared a bottle of a good red with friends a few months ago. Apart from that, I haven't had a drink for 18 months. I usually get up for a pee at 2 am and 5 am. If I have 3-4 alcoholic drinks, that becomes every hour on the hour. While I can still get a buzz from alcohol, it's just not worth the aftermath.
