  1. Yes, some of your posts do have that problem.
  2. My perfect afternoon in Bangkok is boarding an aircraft to leave it.
  3. I can remember having a good chuckle reading US EPA test methods for stack emissions that expressed the results in grains per cubic foot. It is rather odd, considering America was one of the first nations to decimalize its currency in 1792.
  4. The most disturbing detail is how someone who was pointed out as having a weapon had enough time to get a shot off.
  5. In South America, girls as young as 8 or 9 start menstruating because they are eating chicken which is fed growth hormones.
  6. IIRC one roll of foil was 65 baht when I bought it a couple of months ago, and it gets used about 5 days out of 7. About 75% of aluminium is recycled. Do you have a backup power generator? It sounds to me a power failure might be quite expensive. OK with chicken breasts, although i lean towards Atlantic salmon fillets, pork tenderloins, Cumberland sausage and gammon steaks. MY GF does a 3-egg omelette fresh every morning for me in the village, 5 eggs sounds a bit over the top.
  7. I line the interior of an air fryer with aluminium foil, spray lightly with olive oil. Check with a meat thermometer to ensure interior of meat/fish is above 60 C. No mess, discard the foil after single use A rational person would cook them one at a time. Are you feeding multiple progeny from your licentious youth?
  8. When someone fell out of favor in the royal court or government circles, Mae Hong Son is where they were sent. The road to MHS from Chiang Mai has over 1800 bends, which are not negotiable by large buses. It's quite a beautiful place, for a couple of days. Food choices at the restaurants are pretty limited.
  9. You are lucky to be able to still cycle after the Thai nutter tried to kill you. Stay well.
  10. Brilliant thinking. Have drones deployed, then another joins what's in the air with a grenade in its payload. Isn't the job of the SS hard enough just protecting against assassination with handguns and sniper rifles?
  11. I suggest you read "The Manchurian Candidate" by Richard Condon.
  12. Wow, who's been sucking on lemons this morning?
  13. Having a GF who will look after me. She's been doing it for more than 10 years.
  14. No person with an IQ of 130 would be posting the deranged rant you have posted without serious mental problems.
  15. I don't know what the truth is. On the face of it, there do seem to be failures in security. Whether they are from malice or incompetence remains to be seen.
  16. I have explained it to you, with examples. I can't understand it for you.
  17. Trump has not exactly made himself a pin-up boy of the Secret Service. Think of how he was making millions off playing golf with them in attendance, in an environment where it was impossible to provide protection from a long range sniper. Then there were the events of January 6, where he tried to override the detail assigned to him, and go to the Capitol. Or putting their lives at risk during COVID, by refusing to wear a mask. The Secret Service are professionals. However, given Trump's behaviors, the job must be a major PITA.
  18. IIRC OneMoreFarang posted a photo of Trump holding some kind of rifle, demonstrating his support of the second Amendment and the NRA. Perhaps you don't appreciate the irony of a staunch proponent of the freedom to bear arms, nearly getting nailed by said freedom.
  19. Trump has spent all his political life stoking division and bigotry. An assassination attempt from a mentally-unbalanced person is not unexpected. A couple of commentators have expressed surprise attempts have not been made sooner. I suppose the defenders of the Second Amendment will claim the Secret Service having guns saved Trump. But what if the gunman's shot was more accurate?
  20. I am not blaming Trump. It is when the claim is made there were no wars during his presidency, that I call BS. IIRC Trump was the guy who asked if it was feasible to nuke Iran, which is hardly the language of a pacifist. That was in the last months of his presidency, when he knew he was losing and thought a nice war, Margaret Thatcher style, could help burnish his credentials at the ballot box.
  21. Funny you should ask that. The Afghanistan War started in 2001, when George Bush was President. A Republican.
  22. The US did not leave Afghanistan until 2021. The war there went on for the whole of Trump's presidency. As you say, an inconvenient truth.
  23. A camera down the throat is an endoscopy. A camera up the rear end is a colonoscopy. Foods high in fibre such as Kelloggs' All - Bran, bamboo etc. may help in restoring a healthy gut, as does kimchi or sauerkraut. Alternatively, a good cleanout can be achieved with PEG 3350, known under various names such as Macrogol, Moviprep, Glycoprep etc. When doing a colonoscopy, the surgeon pumps up the colon with air, like a football. In rare cases, called barotrauma. too much pressure can cause injury.
  24. I agree, but there will always be people who want to suck up to power or wealth.
