There is no way you should have rusting on galvanized sheet after only three years, there is something wrong. Are the holes random, or in a pattern? What is the coating mass ( g/sqm )? How are the sheets fixed? Look for metal swarf or rivets on the rooftop. Washers heavy in carbon have been known to cause corrosion.
