the government propoganda and lies ABOUT ZERO INFECTIONS locally for

three months, while releasing news about a foreigner here and there who

got caught positive while in quarantine, in backfiring.

now they cannot claim that it is time to bring back some foreigners, because

they are the dirty ones who will infect the pure and healthy thai.

truth is that there are many infected and sick thai people.

truth is that the only way to live with this virus is the swedish way: to keep

all open, suffer some casualties and build herd immunity.

truth is that many more thai people will die from poverty and starvation, if the

country will remain closed.

what worries me more than the virus is how thailand brainwash the media

with the subtext of : ONLY FOREIGNER CARRY = AND SPREAD - THE VIRUS.

Every day there is another farand who is found POSITIVE...but strangely enough

no thai...or at least not on the news. this chauvinist ultra national attitude

might explode on us all one day

it is very simple - you do not taste, you do not see infections.

the virus is real, the pandemic is not.

even if 20,000 thais died from the virus, it does not have to make a big noise

if the government does not want to make the noise.

but in the christian countries, they like to control all things and feel like they help the poor

and sick. so the governments there offer big money to hospitals doctors ext., hence

give them the motivation to find more and more  infected and categorise each and every death as corona victim.

the meaning of this is simple - THE END OF HUMANITY !!

OP say five days. My experience is one day. No problem. So easy.

-easen visa procedures

-eradicate scams

-safe roads

-correct pricing

-logic anti-corona regulations (ex if yr country issues a certificate, that will do it)

-a helping police force

-ban pollution

-educated natives against racism (fe. a minister treating alliens as dirty people should be dismissed and sued)

-use a correct exchange rate policy

So this is not only about simply reopen. Its about a fundamental cahnge of mentality.

i respectfully disaggree.

i find the thai mentality and hospitality quite good, among the best in the world.

this includes:

*correct and easy exchange rate (really, the smallest spreads i found on this planet!)

*a helping police force - yes, thai police are helping and friendly, just see how the police shoot

people in the USA !!

*visa process - find it qbubibtbebbbbmcbbvx

* pollution, corroption ext. - this is part of the deal. you cannot have it all.

THAILAND WILL PREVAIL !!

A tourist comes to one of these Quarentine Hotel/Resorts.  Confined to the hotel and perhaps the grounds,  Perhaps the local surrounding village.  During the Quarentine stay the guest can come in contact with Staff and Local Vendors.  Also during the Quarentine stay the guest comes into contact with guests who arrived previous  and guests that came later.  During that time if the guest transmits the virus to a previous guest and the previous guest completes the quarentine period and tests negative (but has been infected and not showing virus during testing).  That guest would move on and unknowingly start infecting people that the guest comes into contact with.  The same continues with the guest who at the end of the quarentine period come into  contact with a newly quarentined tourist and contracts the virus passes the final covid test and proceeds on to vacationing in Thailand  unknowingly transmitting the virus he acquired in the last stage of quarentine.

you too makes the assumption that the ai farang are the carriers and spreaders of the virus among clean and pure thai.

i would want to invest in a thai cannabis company, if publicly listed,

although i hate cannabis and legalisation !

I THINK that every month it will get easier and easier, with more flights and less restrictions.

Thailand wants to play it safe so still requires quarantine in state hotels, but as the situation

improves the quarantine will be allowed in private apartments as well...i think

that around march or april it is going to be much easier.

My friends and i have an idea - to get into thailand from the sea, this way we can skip the restrictions on

air travel.

We plan to hire a yacht to take us to the ANDAMAN sea, than to continue to shore in commando boats.

in night there are not much guards and they are not so alert these days.

but we are not sure where we can land, that will be close enough to touristic areas

yet not so exposed so we can sneak under cover of the night.

any suggestions for good spots to land?
