SAFETY FIRST replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
I agree, good idea for those of us that are competent but sadly I don't think that we'll get the option to pick one up cheap. -

They will end up in landfill. Not very eco-friendly These vehicles are a menace on our roads, underpowed and unroadworthy. The users will be unlicensed tourists, getting hurt due to their Incompetence. I can see many more gofundme pages. -

Everyday, I see you reading most members comments and replying to different members. Without question, you read the many comments about members discussing the confused emoji's and the recent article regarding the infant that died after being hit by a car in a housing estate. One member commented that he was astonished by a confused emoji on a member replying with RIP for the boy. Are you just being a nuisance with your comment? Surely you must read the many, many negative comments regarding the confused emoji's. We have some strange members here mate, lots of weirdos that use their confused emoji's to antagonize, etc. -
British family leaves UK for Thailand for lower costs of living
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Oh great, more moaners arriving. Every swinging dick wants to live in Thailand. When they arrive they never stop complaining about this and that. These people typically dislike some of Thailand's unique, challenging infrastructure and safety issues, then start whinging and whining, demanding things change. I like Thailand and all its quirks and features. Anyhow, I reckon they'll be back in the UK in a year or so.- 302 replies

Oldmate who started the thread seems miserable.
-
Why would you move to Thailand to work yourself to death? Why not work in your home country, earn yourself great money, then come here and holiday and live like a KING
-
Agree I love the cold days, it's just those Sydney winters are too miserable. Those continuous cold, wet winter nights can get you down.
-
Omg, strange that you come to Thailand to work yourself to death. I have worked in Thailand, offshore, Songkhla, 12 hour days, on a 28 day rotation, had every other month to spend in Thailand with my family relaxing. Thailand is for travelling, relaxing, spending time with your loved ones, now you are posting negativity, having a miserable weekend. Looking back through the thread, it's weird that some are having a miserable time here. Is Thailand the right place for you right now!?

You got to manage your daily routine, stay inside hot time of the day. The night time is perfect for socialising. The Thai's aren't stupid, they stay inside. The hot days are much better than a miserable, cold, wet day. Growing up in Sydney I remember spending many Friday and Saturday night in my bed rather than face the bitter cold night going out to different venues with my friends. I love the wet season, keeps things cool. I've got a few English friends, they get so depressed rainy season, I can't understand them, it's perfect time of year. It's great riding my PCX, put my belongings under seat with my raincoat, just wear flip flops, singlet and shorts (helmet and sunglasses), it's the best feeling. If I'm lucky I see a pretty walking in the rain and offer her a lift, instant friend. 😁

This is how the elderly foreigners in Pattaya ride their disability scooters. 😂 A menace to all other road users. -

I used to fly in and out of HatYai every month and what you say is so true. I never spent much time in HatYai, I'd drive same day to Songkhla, thank God. -

If a finger print is found on the tooth brush, its not guaranteed that it will be on a police database. You could be throwing away good money for nothing. It will be an expensive process.

Agree. I reckon the majority of these confused emoji users are sending them to antagonize. Anyway, they annoy the hell out of me, I prefer a discussion if someone doesn't understand or is confused. -
Foreigners Detained for Illegal Daycare on Koh Pha Ngan
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
Thank God. I'm so grateful. It would be horrible, could not think of anything worse having all those desperate foreigners arriving in the Thailand for jobs. It wouldn't be the same living here, I'd hate it. I worked legally here offshore Songkhla, my company organised my work permits etc., lots of paperwork and rigmarole to process these visa's. I see many desperate foreigners working here illegally, all losers, no hopers, I hope they get caught, then deported.
