Agree. Some people amaze with with their obsession to expose themselves to unecessary hardship. Little things like you mentioned, they're ready to react in an aggressive way, shoving a camera in another person's face to protect their rights, it's attention seeking. Who would want to be a cop, having to deal with these crazy people daily. I'm the guy that prefers to stay under the radar. Especially in Thailand, there are different laws, cultures, a little bit of corruption money etc., if that's what it takes or what I must pay, this minor inconvenience, to put up with to live in this beautiful country so be it. I reckon if the OP wants to start recording the cops for different issues, Thailand is probably not the place for him. I see quite a few videos of people filming the cops on the internet, what do people see in antagonizing a cop, are they getting enjoyment, maybe getting sexual pleasure, there are some strange people in this world. Sadly too many of these strange types are coming to Thailand.

Yes, I ride my bicycle through Arab Town early mornings, hundreds of them, sitting around in different places in the soi. I've also seen about 30 scooters with pillions early mornings riding from jomtien back to Yensabai.

I can understand that. I've had an argument over a woman. That's what I like about living in Pattaya, plenty of lovely freelance ladies to choose from, no need to argue, just need a little bit of money.

I'm not surprised. Construction workers pound concrete pylons into the ground, the force and impact shakes the ground for many meters. Do like they do in Australia, drill a pier hole and fill in with concrete. The drill is not harmful, it won't destroy surrounding dwellings. It's also neighbour friendly. Geeze, I remember when I first arrived in Pattaya, staying in my apartment, next plot they were driving these concrete pylons in for weeks, had to spend most of the day in the bars, probably why my liver is not doing too well these days. Get with the times people.

This is nothing new. The cops are always on the lookout for modified vehicles (cars or bikes) any modifications. You'll get a ticket if you drive a non standard vehicles on public roads

Stay under the radar mate, enjoy your time in Thailand, you don't want to end up in the Bangkok Hilton. If you're prone to getting in trouble with the law, Thailand is probably not the place for you.
