  1. Yep, I'd say that hydraulic component that failed isn't a Boeing parts. Most parts for those Russian planes would have to be made in house, by Russians in Russia.
  2. Who made you the person who allows members to different groups. The topic title seemed interesting to read, I'm a little bored at the moment, the girlfriend is in the shower. I'm allowed to make a comment and give an opinion. I've heard it all now, non gays (straight people) are not welcome to the gay AN forum group.
  3. This is a gay people group. So, it's all I'm going to say on this topic because I'm well out numbered. Yes, I'm BLOODY SERIOUS
  4. Where's he living. If he's living in the west I don't blame him for going queer. Buy him a airplane ticket to Thailand, after a few weeks here in Thailand he'll go heterosexual again.
  5. My cop friend and his police issued scooter. Looking at his number plate, he likes a 69. video_20240425_113939_edit.mp4
  6. Before having my ears syringed, I'd spend most of my time in Soi 6. Could have been anything in there.
  7. I just heard on the local radio station that the vehicles travelling east/west have right of way when entering intersections on the railway road. If you have ever travelled this road it's always the vehicles travelling east/west that give way, makes sense, I'm always travelling over 80km/h, if you don't give way to me, you'll end up like Swissy. With all this talk about these white lines and right of way I reckon we'll see a lot more of these crazy, suicidal foreigners on their disability scooters wanting to claim insurance or worse...... Beats the balcony dives. Take care out there. video_20240425_091243_edit.mp4
  8. Yes, lots of debris was removed. Big difference.
  9. There's a few around the intersection of 3rd road and Pattaya Tai. The two doctor clinics West of 3rd road. I had my ears syringed for I think 500 baht.
  10. These are going for around 40k baht. I spotted this for sale in Pattaya. Problem is I can't find anyone selling with a green book
  11. I don't ride a bike in Thailand, roads are too dangerous. I have a chauffeur. I always get a lift home from the pub. 🍺
  12. We both know how dangerous Thailand roads are, we don't need to make our journeys more dangerous by being foolish in our driving habits. I know you spend a lot of time on the road from the your comments I've read over the years. I hope your driving habits are not so foolish.... I'm sure they aren't, you seem like a decent bloke. Let's hope the Swiss guy survives and he has learnt a lesson.
  13. We've all seen the video. I can clearly see some madman racing an SUV through a busy intersection, a crazy foreigner trying to outrun an SUV on his disability scooter. Kamikaze, psycho guy on a death wish. Do you see something something different, what else is there to see?
  14. The topic heading should read..... foreigner on disability scooter goes for short time at local bar, wife calls so he hastily returns home, colliding with SUV he was trying to outrun at dangerous intersection or crazy daredevil foreigner speeds through intersection without looking or slowing, then tries to outrun SUV on invalid electric scooter at dangerous Pattaya intersection or an unstable, depressed foreigner looking for insurance payout collides with SUV at full speed on disability scooter.
  15. I usually live in my house but been staying in my condo now that it's so hot. 2015 I bought of the plan 2 condos for my children in a water themed condominium project in Pattaya, about 1.5 km. from my house Over the last couple of years my children have grown up (late teeagers), they have no interest so I've been staying there, it's like living in a cave, the house gets so hot but the condo faces east and is always well under 30 degrees, I rarely use the AC. I've got a girlfriend, she stays with me regularly, I have been staying in one condo and the girlfriend frequently stays in the other. It's a great feeling to come and go, works well for me. The extra utilities are not that expensive.
  16. Every man for himself Yes, also the biggest vehicle always has right of way.
  17. I'd say he was getting his medicinal Ganja or his antidepressants. Probably why he was driving so dangerously.
  18. A couple of you here seem obsessed with the white line. Disregard the white line, no one pays any notice of the white line. If you are driving and stop at that white line you are endangering your life and property. This road takes a lot of traffic, most cars, trucks and buses travelling at 80 km/h. This main road traffic continues to flow, only stopping when vehicles have entered the intersection from the little soi's on the left or right, then the vehicles enter the intersection, only when there is a break in the traffic. This road runs parallel to the Sukhumvit, it takes similar traffic, it's a main thoroughfare, similar to the Sukhumvit. No driver in their right mind would stop at every little side street on the Sukhumvit, because this is dangerous. Most here are missing the point, the Swiss guy came shooting out of the side street, without looking or slowing, you'd have to be a crazy person or wanting to hurt yourself to drive this way. Another point is, it's the 19th, it's THE Songkran day, he's going to get stopped, powdered, ice water thrown at him, what is he doing out and about, the article says medication, I don't believe, you'd get your medication prior to Songkran, I'm sure all the other foreigners on their disability scooters are inside, safe and sound. There's more to the story than the unusual white line and the mystery why it's there, that's for another thread. That poor woman in the SUV, it would have scared her. On this road you never see a crazy person, flying out of a side street when vehicles are travelling at 80 km/h, she did nothing wrong, it's how every one drives on that road, nobody stops at a stupid white line (no one in their right mind). I'd say the Swiss guy has mental health issues, darting out of the side street would be similar to darting out of a side street on the Sukhumvit, I reckon he has tried to hurt himself. Is he trying to injure himself, is it an insurance job? Maybe the Swiss guy is aware of the white line, hoping for a payout, knowing his reckless behaviour would pay dividends.
  19. Crikey, 25yo and 15 Stone, she's a little tubby, hate to see her in 10 years.
  20. So now you pay twice the utilities every month, 2 x rents, 2 x electric bills, 2 x water bills etc. every month?
  21. Yes, 100 %, if you don't expect to get hit up the rear by the guy behind. All traffic flows on this road, never yields at the many intersections unless the flow has stopped due to traffic passing from left or right. Like I said, it's similar to driving Sukhumvit Road, you're not expecting a projectile to come out of a side street. Again, you really should drive this road to understand the intersection.
