  1. Go on, tell us more. You've sold the lot and want support from us ????
  2. Geeze I wish our management company would be more forceful with long term parking. Out condo is around 5 years old, quite a few cars been here for many years, lots of dust on them, taking up valuable parking spaces.
  3. Try softer tyres. I see some pickups over 100,000 kilometers on the original tyres, they must be made of a very hard compound. I read most accidents in Thailand are pickups, no wonder, these tyres must under perform on wet roads, brake hard in the wet, then aquaplane into the vehicle ahead
  4. To start the day with her toxic attitude is not for me. I do understand that there are those of you who enjoy and thrive on this toxicity but I steer clear.
  5. I reckon it's only good for honey or jam sandwiches, it's foul. I enjoy the occasional beer. Some days if I've had a few beers I like a few slices of toasted bread with vegemite, nothing better ???????? Can't do it on sweetened bread, bloody UnAustralian. I remember when I first arrived in Thailand, buying the bread from 7-Eleven, same sugary crap.
  6. I had a favorite bread shop on Soi Buakhao but I'm sure there's a witch working there, such a nasty woman. So, I tried the whole wheat bread from Makro. OMG, it's sweetened, I can taste the sugar. These idiots, putting sugar in whole wheat/wholegrain bread, it really ticks me OFF. Anyone else tasting the sweetened bread
  7. There's no doubt the Thai Traffic Police do a good job. We continually see their efforts stopping traffic, at each and every intersection along the Sukhumvit and Theprasit roads in peak hours for the dignitaries. At times driving at stupid speeds through the streets escorting the famous. I'm amazed that there are not more accidents involving these escorts. Sadly, when these intersections are blocked, I'm sat there waiting with the other peasants for 10 or so minutes each time. ????
  8. You just got to be careful when walking around the building, people falling from the balconies at times. ????
  9. BC was great to visit 20 years ago, each and every hidden bar along the strip was populated with 17,18 & 19yo girls but sadly what I found these same BC girls are still working the bars 20 years on, all withered and worn.
  10. WOW, maybe we should get the fortune teller on the case 'Malaysia airlines MH 370'
  11. Yes, I've used the house blue book at immigration for residence certificate
  12. What value did the agent give you? From reading your story you did it all yourself.
  13. I reckon honda click is the best Bang for bucks, you made the right choice. ???? It's just that I'm a little too tall to fit on a click, I've got to stick with the pcx or nmax
  14. I'll check and get back. BTW, I read you paid for your Click in advance and rode away, that's very convenient. Did you have to return to the dealership a couple of weeks later to get the white number plate? Also i read that you was thinking of buying a Honda Lead for the extra under seat room, why did you get a Click?
  15. I find that the Mityon dealers are all selling Clicks at the internet listed pricing. It's only the PCX and ADV that are over inflated with their dealer pricing You want a regular Thai bile, Click, zoomer, Scoopy, wave etc the dealers prices are selling listed
  16. Yep, lots of bills. They're spending a fortune advertising on the local radio station FM 103.
  17. Yes, I mentioned that one too. Most hosts usually play good music, right now and until 9:00 PM Emperor Rosco is playing 'Coast to Coast Country'. Their repetitive commercials are a wee bit annoying, but since it is a free private station, it is understandable that they have to make money from somewhere. Rarely on air. Seems like their location (Chayapruek 2) is the worst in the country for power outages.
  18. ^^^^^^ Yep, you'll have to open a new bank account.
  19. Like most car fires in Thailand I reckon he had some Dodgy auto electrician fit/install some bling or similar (something useless) and this has caused the fire
  20. Yep, worse thing about Thailand is some of the foreigners ????
