Thailand Unveils Digital Global Driving Licence via Mobile App
SAFETY FIRST replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
This is great input 👍 I've been concerned about using my Thai licence abroad in countries that use the Roman alphabet. I'm probably paranoid because my mates from Australia come to Thailand with their motorbike and car license but receive a traffic infringement not having a IDP -

These intoxicated fools become wild animals. Cops should be supplied more special needs tools, to bring these clowns down. Screenrecording_20241214_073007.mp4- 115 replies

White Bread or Wheat Bread?
SAFETY FIRST replied to HappyExpat57's topic in Western Food in Thailand
Wheat bread, must be consumed promptly. If not white bread is the option, lots more chemicals to maintain freshness. Nothing better after a few beers, toasted wheat/wholemeal bread, lots of margarine, little bit of Vegemite. -
Death penalty sought for Korean murderer in Pattaya
SAFETY FIRST replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Killing the animals to rid the world of all the beasts we have in society is a bloody good thing. How about you, have and take care of these sick people, let them stay with you if you're so concerned. Put your hands in your pocket take care of these demon's. We tax paying good people should not be accountable, to feed and provide housing for this filth. We good people should not have to live amongst these creatures. Bring back to the west, the death penalty and corporal punishment, please 🙏 -
Some here were born miserable, always whinging and whining, constantly moaning, complaining about this and that. These glass half empty people are toxic. Learn to switch off, if you don't these toxic people can affect your health.

Any plans for Christmas this year?
SAFETY FIRST replied to BarBoy's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Nothing planned. Wait for Santa, watch my girlfriend who I spoil to death open her presents. Getting drunk, spending most of the day in bed with my girlfriend, then out for a nice meal, then back to the love shack. -
Do Thais really attack foreigners for no reason?
SAFETY FIRST replied to MalcolmB's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
And who are you to receive a Wai? Think your a VIP ? Some Farang who thinks he's important? YOU should be Waiing him ! And just like in Australia saying sorry to him for invading his land Crikey, look below at Goergie boys comment, so many likes, loves etc. never, ever have I seen so many positive emoji's from a Georgie boy comment in the past, NEVER. They are always sad and confused emoji's only. Go Georgie, you've got all the haters, all the nasty, miserable sods are on your side. Georgie boy for president of the egotistic, self loving stuck up crowd 🍺 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 -

You've highlighted an issue that I was not aware of, the poll is showing 9 yes and 21 no. This is alarming, now I understand why I get regularly attacked here with hostility and aggression for my comments. I thought there would be 1 or 2, not 9, you started the poll only 14 hours ago. It must be so sad these 'yes' people living in beautiful Thailand and thinking this. -

Yeah, Putins war has really screwed beautiful Thailand up. Being an Aussie, we generally give a nod or g'day to those you pass in the street etc. but the Russians avoid any interaction. With so many here now I tend to stop my g'day and hello's. -

BORING. I've never lived far from a beach and city for long periods. When I first arrived, I stayed Phetchabun, out in the sticks, nice temple and caves but a 30 minutes drive into town got me down, need to be close to the beach. If I have a spare hour to kill, I'll ride my PCX down Beach Rd, from North Pattaya, maybe soi 6/1, give Bob a wave then down soi 6, heading south, around Bali Hai, Pratumnak, Jomtien Beach, the view is always dynamic, never the same always changing. -

You got to switch off, ignore the haters, the miserably bastards, they are trolls looking for attention, probably only ever travelled from their home country to Thailand, now married to a miserable ex bar girl. Get ready for the abuse from some these Thai bashers here, please report their disrespectful comments. I've travelled, worked and studied in over 40 countries, Thailand is the safest, I reckon far safer from where I was born, Australia. The Thai's are the happiest, friendliest, most welcoming people I've ever met and worked with. Sadly all the miserable, disrespectful, moaning foreigners who are arriving I am worried these good natured lovely Thai's will stop being as nice towards us. I was doing some business at the Chonburi, Pattaya land office 2 days ago, I've been doing business for over 20 years at the land office. It's now located just before Laem Chabang, anyway I noticed the official who sat behind the desk we sat at didn't seem as friendly, not a Wai from him, not a big deal, it's only a little thing but it's my first time I experienced not being Wai on arrival. Poor guy has probably been abused by a miserable, moaning foreigner, he's had enough. I've been saying this for years, the only bad thing about Thailand are some of the foreigners.- 147 replies
