No travel insurance for me !
SAFETY FIRST replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
PM me with your details, phone number, your hotel safe code etc., I'll take care of the paperwork if you get admitted or worse. Crikey, all those specialists payments, lucky for Medicare, you'd have no money left for your holiday. So it's not just the many AN members that have you on their blocked list. I thought I read on another thread that you were taking estrogen (not testosterone) injections.- 69 replies

That would just make all the snowflakes happy. -
You are lucky you got cheese. I bought a pizza on walking street..... NO CHEESE. It should be against the law to sell a pizza without cheese.

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
SAFETY FIRST replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I love the EV threads, better than the political and religious rubbish on AN Forum's, the arguments are just as hostile, you EV people are so cranky. Have a nice day Mr Ant 🐜 😂 -
British National Killed in Sattahip Motorcycle Accident
SAFETY FIRST replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
I've got several good friends in their '70s, ride as good as me. I've seen many young people, incompetent, who should not be riding any type of motorcycle.- 140 replies

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
SAFETY FIRST replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Why not open a new thread, we need more wrangle. 🤓 Most here are PRO EV, you're not going to get an accurate answer. I'm a PRO hybrid guy. Plug in or full hybrid should be a question to ask. -
British National Killed in Sattahip Motorcycle Accident
SAFETY FIRST replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
We had a storm yesterday evening, lots of rain. It's night time, Z900, maybe a few beers, this is not the right time to go for a ride on a powerful bike. I choose my time carefully to ride my Ducati, early morning or afternoon (it's cooler), NOT raining, back home before dark for a few beers. When no roadworks, It's a nice ride, down the Sukhumvit to Rayong and back.- 140 replies

Why aren't bus seats made from flame retardant material?
SAFETY FIRST replied to Gobbler's topic in General Topics
💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲 The bus a 1971 model, it had an engine replaced and illegally installed gas cylinders. I reckon the bus owner was not interested in forking out money for seats made of flame retardant material. These bus owners spend money on the BLING, not safety. -
Soi Kophai is notorious for local gang violence and rampant drug use in South Pattaya, it's no suburbs Loosen up dude, I was being a little cheeky, it was a joke Sorry for bringing some humour to the forum. Sadly, I've asked Asean Now admin to change the name to 'grumpy old man's forum' but they refuse.

I've got a few friends who come to Thailand every year, I give them my shopping list before they depart, they bring with them my goodies.
