Very true Rob. The pro-Junta PP party won the more votes than any other single party. FF took votes from the Democrats but also from PTP whose vote was halved from last time.
People didn't vote for a coalition. And just as the LibDems in the UK found out, when backing the Conservatives in a coalition, voters don't always like it. And show their dislike at the next election.
You purposefully miss the point. They got more votes due to the Army ordered to vote that way, only the Junta were allowed to meet in years, they bribed PTP Cobras to rat on their party. They banned a prominent person and then the party. Then they changed the rules after the election.
Every country in the world allows coalitions to form governments. PTP and FFP had the votes and they were cheated out of victory when your beloved Junta knew they would lose.
I hope BumJaiThai honour their promise not to back Prayut - and the Democrats become Democratic and honour their leaders pledge before the election 'vote for us we will not support Prayut'. -

Unlike you i don't think the election was rigged (yes the allocation of seats to the small parties stinks and is unfair). But i don't think the numbers as they are are fake. But lets agree to disagree there.
it was rigged (my top ten):
1. no meetings for years
2. only Prayut could travel around
3. banning a party for what? then not allowing them to stand
4. changing the rules AFTER the election5. bribing PTP senior figures to join them
6. bribing other parties with promises of Cabinet Seats
7. attacking Thanathorn for using a standard business form with 80 options - used widely
8. attacking Thanathron for giving a lift to someone many years ago
9. attacking anyone who disagrees - yesterday beating up someone on the steps of the Bangkok Court
10. inciting fear and intimidation with his stupid songs

Just now, robblok said:Then don't call them BKK Thais.. because that is just not true.. and I think i lift enough. Probably too much.
If you had not called them BKK Thais I would not have attacked your math. Anyway I really don't care that much i was just pointing out that the Thais are divided again. 30% is still an awful lot. I had just hoped that the election would show a far more anti junta view while it certainly did not. The election did not solve a thing.
That's because they enforced the Army vote and all sorts and they still only got 23%. In others words 77% voted for others.

Just now, holy cow cm said:Reluctant is hardly. I beg to differ as the real details will never be allowed to be seen or found out. They pulled or prodded too many things. They either own or control the EC and looks like the courts as well, or its what they said would award them with or what they have on or over them makes them buckle and maybe scared. Other groups they made up from their intent and character and made quite sure that no matter what they would not lose even if it was seemingly to be against the rational of a certain document they drew up to run the law of the country.
People and groups were eliminated over absurd notions where their groups are virtually untouchable, and stands that more will be eliminated after as they have not even started yet..
They redrew the election lines which is a travesty in itself. They are hardly half of all voters of being adored by and one wouldn't think it being over an actual 20-25% who did actually vote for them. Redo the election under a better program as not taking seats away and giving them to undeserving groups who couldn't make the cut, put the election boundaries back to where they were, stop the charade of being untouchable, and let's see where it comes back to. If they are truly the best liked, they surely don't look like they earned it with honesty. Too much and too many lines were crossed.
the 23% who voted for them included Army, Government offices etc. I'd be surprised if they really got 15%. Even though all this stinks they then get the rules changed AFTER the result. Now they will try and derail Thanathorn for life as he is the biggest threat to their meal train. Wake up Thailand.

Who said anything about worrying about money that even children have? What is your point exactly? So will you get Mucho for 1 year anyway regardless of not having Sky? What service isn't consistent?
Mucho, as has been mentioned, has issues also.

Are you sure it's not your internet connection? I have two Pulse boxes and they work fine. In fact since their major server upgrade, it's been better than ever. A few channels disappeared yesterday, but the online chat service responded quickly and they were all back quickly.

I watch NetFlix without issues and play online games. I have 100mb download and 50mb upload.
I don't want to knock Pulse they have been very good in the past and if I can get this fixed I'm very happy with the service. Yes channels disappear regularly too - then come back! it's odd, though, that there are not several competing suppliers.

Sky maybe important, but for 48 Euro's a year it makes Mucho a no brainer anyway.
The day I worry about 48 Euros is the day I realize all my career was for nothing lol. For me I just want consistent service and happy to pay for it.

Whats your problem with Pulse? Only time i have a problem is when my internet is playing up.
I actually love Pulse and months back it was great. Now I get lag everyday. I understand one of their providers has a server issue but it's taking ages to fix it.

WHAT a disgrace and a farce! they change the rules, decided before the election? giving small Junta parties with a few thousand votes a seat??? I call on all International countries to boycott (but it won't happen). Sad for Thailand but the people do nothing. The only hope is FFP.

So sad and why I won't ride a bike very far here. RiP + 20 years for the drunk but he will be allowed to walk for 1 or 2m.

You could check out http://iptvuk.club/ they offer free a trial, every channel available to mankind. I have it at the moment, but have decided I might manage without the sports. Compared to some IPTV providers they are quite reasonable at 4,100 baht a year. Good luck.
Thanks when pulse is good it's good but they don't answer emails and the support is quite poor.

Residents of luxury condo want action as foreigners allowed to stay on daily rent
in Bangkok News
Posted
It's against the law of Thailand unless the condo is registered as a hotel (condotel). Easy to fix.
See the JP and tell them you will be going to LO and report them if they do not take action. The JP is the only one legally responsible for the condo.
