Sorry but I said credit card. If you used a UK credit card you could have claimed under section 75 of the UK Consumer Credit Act and received a refund.

You can't do that with a debit card.

Is it easy to do a chargeback in UK ? Not as easy as in US I guess, where just a phone call or email is enough to be refunded, whatever the reason (lie) is.

If you have nothing to do for a day drive down to Prachuap Khiri Khan 100 kms south of Hua Hin. There hundreds of plantations there. I am sure you could do a deal with the property owner.

Hello, can you tell me where exactly ?

And how to use aloe vera for stomach ?

    Thanks a lot.

  3. Hi all.

Does anyone know where I can buy good quality aloe vera juice / gel in Bangkok?

I think I've seen it around but I can't remember where.

Now I have several digestive problems and I would like to give it a try.

    Thanks!

    ummm nuh!

I first came up with this in 1989 with my first car (metal finish/Clearcoat)

I've repeated the using this stuff on my next car, which is 27 years old. the paintwork was great until about 2 months after getting the car back from getting some panels repaired (2015), when it turned out that they had buffed the entire car, which compromised the ClearCoat of the metallic finish. (the same as what happened with the 1st car in 1989)

Being the cheapskate I am ? I again refused to:

     1, respray/ re-clearcoat the entire car, nor

    2. Continue trying all the different CutPolishes available etc

and lateral thinking made me stumble on the 'MrSheen' in a repeat fit of experimental madness!!

but... it really did what I wanted (again), in that even though it did not actually 'restore' anything; it did the beading (water off a duck's back) thing

the clue to it's discovery (for the above scenario) were the old wives tales of using MrSheen on a dashboard

One Aerosol Can will do a station wagon, several times i.e one year of treatment

Interesting experience. Where do you buy it ?

I would not try it on brand new Benz but later maybe.

Some still haven't got the message.

And getting away with 10k is a good "deal".

And 10k is an official number for DUI.

Just that it usually goes through court.

An acquaintance was caught in Pattaya over the alc. limit (> 50mg/l) on a Friday afternoon. He was arrested at the police station.

Bail set to 20k which he did not have at hand.

Fortunately he could reach a friend who lend him the missing amount.

So got free with a court appearance on Monday.

Fine 10k and as far as I know he now has a criminal record.

How can he be  caught during afternoon ? They do not check alcohol in afternoon.

And he had no money to pay on the spot ?

find a product similar to this

Image result for mr sheen  it is simply a furniture aerosol polish

you simply spray it on... and thats it!

you don't even really need to bother to spend the energy to buff anything...

it'll instantly bead water, and as is will last for a few months, until you do it again

even the most extremely hazed old paintwork will still bead water like new

    Are you joking ?

Someone here was talking about opening a sandwich shop , and Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches was mentioned.  Now we have one , so that's another welcome addition to the food choices here.

I wonder if they taste the same as the one I had in Hanoi?  Only one way to find out.

Sorry but I never tried anywhere before this shop. Can you tell me after you try if the taste was good ? At least the Vietnamese owner is friendly and makes his own bread !

I never understood, how so many people can drive the car with this prints (brandnames) on the window.

The first thing I told the sale person, that they removed the prints, as it is disturbing. But most cars I sit, they still have the prints on. They mostly not want take anything away, as they always told me.. it will look better not become dirty or scratched so fast. Then I see cars they are a few years old, the folie looks ugly and old but yes under that the screen or whatever still would be perfect. Only nobody will ever see it at the film will stick till they throw away the car (so what is the advantage of that, when you then never see the nice under the folie???)

    Remember where we live ?

    It says it all.

After 10 days of use, I am very satisfied with the Xioami Redmi Note-5 I received from Lazada, despite all the model confusion discussed earlier in this thread.

I can't think of a single complaint with the phones operation.  Aps load quickly, pages scroll smoothly, YT videos play without stutter or pause and photos display nicely with sharp colors.  The image stabilization shooting 1080p video works amazingly well,  just about as well as many expensive gimbles I've seen demonstrated.

Call quality is fine, people on the receiving end also  report loud and clear voice quality. The single speaker works about as well as you'd expect.

While the phone is a tad longer and wider than my Redmi Note-4, it doesn't feel at all awkward in hand though I haven't tried one handed texting.  The extra  display size is very noticeable to me; much easier to read email, news and magazine text.

Battery life seems good for a full day of fairly steady use though I don't tax it playing games.  Usually about 30 to 40% battery remains by the time I turn in.

Fingerprint scanner is fast and reliable.  I don't miss the face recognition as I don't think I'd have used it anyway.

All in all, a great phone for around US$200.

    Thank you for the report.

What about the UI ? I like Android one phones stock android  without added $hit and hate Samsung phones full of $hitwares.

Can you compare MIUI with Samsung UI ?

Sounds to me you are looking for a drying agent / protective spray. There isn't really a "cheap solution" for that. I use Gyeon Cure (980 THB / bottle), but it can last for at least 30 or 35 washes.

Gyeon Cure is usually used on cars which have some sort of ceramic coating, but can also be used on a car without coating. Spray it on a wet car, wipe it off with a microfiber towel and then go over it again with another microfiber towel.

Thank you I didn't know this product. But not sold on lazada it seems ? Where to buy ? thanks.

This is the only car wash i have ever been to where they open all 4 doors and the trunk to wipe away any excess soap and water on the seals and footplates

    You are very funny !

The best pattaya car wash does it and a lot more, everything a lot better than quikbadwash, and for no more than 100 thb.

Sorry but you really do not know what you are talking about.

I tested ALL pattaya car wash, Pattaya, Sukhumvit, and dark side, so I guess that I know a little...

Western owned and operated MobileTopup.com has been one of the quickest and easiest ways if you have a Credit / Debit card.   Also you can now get validity amounts of 90, 180 and 360 days for any True Move, DTAC or AIS sim online.

I tried all possible ways, from orange Boonterm machines to online, and it is NOT possible to extend true sim cards for more than 3 months.
