The problem is they won't do this. They will just ban everything, like they did in Sukhumvit.

There is not middle solution in Thailand, it doesn't work, local are either too stupid or stubborn.

it's like road safety, until any drunk driver is sent 1 month to jail right away without discussion, they won't stop.

I recommend pouring vinegar in the tank and letting it sit as long as you can manage.

Then use a scotch pad to clean the areas you want.

If all else fails try muratic acid.   Someone must sell it.

Vinegar doesn't work for very old limescale, we just bought a condo that was unoccupied long term.

muratic acid is hydrochloric acid and i don't know where to buy it ?

I tried glass coating, but it didn’t last long. For a little bit more money you can have a complete vinyl wrap which I did. Very happy with the result.

Meaning they wouldn't have impounded the car if a proper international permit was provided, because it technically would not have been illegal. This is simply a scam the police have run for ages. The serious problem was because they were actually doing something against the law -- driving without a license...any license.

No. Cambodia doesn't recognize any international license. Scam or not, what do you do if your millions baht car is stop and they asked you thousands $ to get it back ?! you pay or cry. I drove before to Cambodia but won't take the risk anymore with an expensive car.

  5. What we still don't know is how he catches them ?

It's so easy to avoid cops and avoid showing your passport even if you meet them !

I think it can only be because of Thai snitches and because the guy on overstay spoke to much. It's something that even your wife and kids should not know, just as if you are a drug seller. The only thing that people cannot say is what they do not know... 1st rule from a past life...

Actually, with regard to the Chinese that were stopped, the vehicles were impounded because they had neither a local driving license nor an international driving permit.

The Phnom Phen Post was quite clear on this.

Yes but as Cambodia does not accept any international license, how to you explain this ?

And if Chinese people from a country that owns Cambodia and its prime minister now have problem, what could happen to a foreigner driving a Thai car without Cambodia license ?!

A sardine is a small European pilchard. I can't imagine any "expensive and nice" restaurant serving tinned sardines. I only ever seen fresh sardines served in a restaurant, save maybe, on toast in a transport café.

Many other fish equally nutritious, try makerel (tinned makerel is used in Thai cooking), or herring.

If you insist on tinned sardines, most supermarkets, in Thailand, sell them. They won't be "the usual dirty Thai sardine cans" because sardines aren't canned in Thailand.

It's true that nobody in the world except French and some rich US people know what is a good sardine.

Any fish in can is called sardine, but some are few years old and really good.

Of course I have never seen them in Thailand, but maybe a good French restaurant could have them ? They cost $20 a can in some French or US shops, so I cannot imagine how much they would cost here ?

If anybody knows where to eat the real best quality sardine in Pattaya can tell me, thank you.

Sardine is the best fish that anybody could eat, I know that most normal people (without healthy food knowledge) don't know, but it's true. I will never eat again any Thai ssshhiitt fish, even if you pay it for me.

That's an interesting question and I hope somebody will be able to answer it.

I did a quick web search and found nothing to indicate that Cambodian immigration denies entry to foreigners arriving from Thailand with a one-year Thai ban stamped in the passport. Just be sure not to use the land border at Poipet; funny things happening there recently. Best to fly.

Cambodia is full of people banned from Thailand and others who are not able to live in Thailand (and left before being caught). So yes, it seems that it isn't a problem. But I know that life is easier for white people with money there, even criminals...

A i7 also uses more energy and produces more heat. If someone does not need more power then an i3 might be better than an i7 for that user.

"Why posting something so stupid !? Nothing else to do ?!" Yes, that are good question. Maybe some users here should think about it before they show their ignorance and incompetence.
