  1. You must be more patient than me. I watched the first 30 minutes and yes it was confusing and a bit boring and that's where I gave up. Perhaps I should have persevered as you did. Thanks for the heads up.
  2. I will share with you if you share your educational level and political lean with me , deal?
  3. Have you considered that masking can be effective in reducing transmission of airborne disease and that the children value the lives of their grandparents and could be happy to help protect them. It saddens me to see political ideology at odds with expert medical advice. Yes, masks reduce the risk of spreading COVID, despite a review saying they don't (theconversation.com)
  4. New ones seem to have the ratings influenced by the critics and who have access first.
  5. Today's News..... 'Daniel Ellsberg, a military analyst who after experiencing a sobbing anti-war epiphany on a bathroom floor made the momentous decision in 1971 to disclose a secret history of American lies and deceit in Vietnam, what came to be known as the Pentagon Papers, died on Friday at his home in Kensington, Calif., in the Bay Area. He was 92'. Daniel Ellsberg, Who Leaked the Pentagon Papers, Is Dead at 92 - The New York Times (nytimes.com) As I recall little about this historical incident, a movie about the Pentagon Papers might be interesting to watch. I suggest that a lot of the audience here including myself, whose number came up in the draft lottery at that time, would find the Pentagon Papers relevant to their past life. There are half dozen movies on the Pentagon Papers available but The Post starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep seems to be the most popular. The Post (2017) - IMDb Has anyone seen the movie and can offer a quick review/opinion?
  6. Obviously Putin breaking the Budapest Agreement again, how could anyone ever trust him to abide by any peace agreement or any agreement for that matter. 'The decision goes against commitments which Russia has undertaken in the Budapest Memorandum, whereby Belarus eliminated all nuclear weapons from its territory'. Belarus: Statement by the High Representative on the announced transfer of Russian nuclear warheads to Belarus | EEAS (europa.eu)
  7. Here is today's comprehension summary of the current state of play so far of Fox News' "BREAKING NEWS......... It is obviously MSNBC's response to Comer's comment ''Your have the MSNBC with their low IQ audience sitting there.......''. Perhaps Comer could be self-projecting here.
  8. I watched the first 15 minutes of first episode then completely forgot all about it, until I read your post. I don't find your comments particularly surprising as his part wasn't that endearing to me either. To be honest, I think being compared to Brando is not a positive achievement.
  9. I watched the start of it last last night still haven't sorted out the plot. It looks like the usual Gerard Butler action movie, maybe not up to the standard of The Covenant but if you are a fan maybe OK. IMDB's rating of 6.1, I would suggest is about right.
  10. If you liked Guy Ritchie's The Covenant you might like this. Kandahar (2023) - IMDb
  11. If you have any doubt of Trump seeking foreign interference in his first election here is it from the horse's mouth. I will not dwell on the fact that this was the same act that he tried in the second election with his 'perfect phone call'. Obviously, he was embolden by how to got away with the first attempt that he tried again.
  12. Fantasy? Perhaps the fantasy is not Hillary's but others who believe that Trump's associates did not collude with the Russians. Again a recent article detailing Trumps associate and Trump Campaign Manager Manafort admitting collusion. Paul Manafort Exclusive: I Gave Trump Campaign Polling Data to Russian Associate Again another recent article detailing Durham's failure to debunk the Russian collusion which cost US taxpayers millions. Analysis: Durham Report Failed to Deliver After Years of Political Hype - The New York Times (archive.md)
  13. You need to keep up as your post has been overtaken by more recent events. Obviously, your four year old article was predicted on Barr's interpretation of Muellers' report in the era when Trump was weaponizing the DOJ through Barr. William Barr is still misleading about the Mueller report, even years later - The Washington Post (googleusercontent.com)
  14. The very stable genius is going off script here, as suggested by the commentator. As to Trump's handlers, it is obvious to all that Putin is clearly pulling his strings.
  15. I agree you 'can't see'! Difficult to see anything unless you were there and know the full circumstances!
  16. I suggest you might be thinking of breathing in fungus in the wallpaper dust but the chemicals used in wallpaper glue to can also be quite toxic also and cause contact dermatitis or eczema. Occupational contact allergy and dermatitis from methylisothiazolinone after contact with wallcovering glue and after a chemical burn from a biocide - PubMed (nih.gov)
  17. I am expecting Moscow. I am sure handler Putin would be eager to provide him with his favourite room at the Ritz Carlton again.
  18. Pension Calculator for new changes! Age Pension calculator (July 2023 update) (superguide.com.au)
  19. Yet, in the post I responded to, there were no links.
  20. Virtue signalling and Schadenfreude? But with respect, haven't you posted this information before?
  21. No offence, but somehow I thought you were discussing the 2020 election. Your comment 'well here is a partial answer from 2020 presidential election' and the graphic threw me! By the way wasn't Trump an 'elite' feeding off the lower classes in New York most of his life? I suggest that Trump and the GOP really represent the 'elites' and that the Democrat represent the lower classes. Ironic is it not? Your graphic here is really quite good and describes what I think has gone wrong in US and how Trump rose to power. The elite have ignored the lower classes and mainly supported themselves and maybe the college educated middle-class. One good example of this IMHO is that the US the richest country in the world has no universal health system and the less wealthy sometimes need to seek medical care in other countries.
  22. With respect, I fully realise that. But all of your audience here may not and I did notice that the reference that I supplied was omitted from your post.
  23. The popular vote doesn't necessary always align with the electoral vote. and does not support the OP where Trump says 'we have a rigged country'. Perhaps those who give this 'obnoxious buffoon' credibility based on 'your partial answer' are just being disingenuous or are illiterate.
  24. From the OP....... 'Normally, defendants who appear.....in court are handcuffed and get their fingerprints and mugshots taken. But legal experts do not expect the former president to face the same procedures as any other defendant'. Very disappointing that Trump is not getting equal justice here even when the GOP are calling for equal justice but for all the wrong reasons. A similar case is Jack Teixeira, the 21-year-old airman charged in connection with the leaked documents probe. Teixeira was charged with illegally removing, retaining and transmitting classified documents under the Espionage Act. The judge called Teixeira disloyal to the U S into how he accessed top secret documents. He was handcuffed and wore a tan jumpsuit when arraigned ,was denied bail and jailed until his trial because of flight risk and risk to obstruct justice. How Trump’s Indictment Compares to Other Espionage Act Cases - The Washington Post (googleusercontent.com)
  25. Very poor attempt at trying to obfuscating your error and whitewash the proven sex predator, twice impeached and indicted criminal defendant white Nationalist. Nothing has changed, your OP was still incorrect. Enjoy rest of your day fishing.
