Are you saying that Kushner's expertise and experience as an Equity Fund Manager was as extensive as Hunters Biden's credentials for his position at Burisma? The validity of Kushner's reason is only your opinion and as it has never been investigated it remains unknown. Actually, the subject of this thread is only Hunter Biden and not the Biden family and "their fans".

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
LosLobo replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
I disagree the job won't be fully completed until all war crime perpetrators are prosecuted, full reparations are made including payments for loss of life, pain and suffering. And that Russia becomes fully UN Charter compliant and offers genuine guarantees that this genocide can never happened again. -

I can imagine Mark Meadows before Jack Smith would be analogous to Anderson and Morpheus in the Matrix. 'You take the blue pill You take the red pill' 'This your last chance. After this there is no turning back. (You tell the truth), the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to. (You take the Kool-Aid), you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember, all I want is the truth. Nothing more'. -

“Old Man Yells at Cloud" comes to mind. You are trying to sell this to the wrong audience. The only one that is not civilized and intelligent here is Putin. -

The Blitz did not help Hitler in breaking the British or stop them from launching a counter-offensive today in 1944 , it only strengthened their resolve. -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
LosLobo replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
The Russian military can finally see the writing on the wall. There will be no where for Putin to hide once they quit Crimea, the Russian perceived crowning jewel of their war against Ukraine. All of the Russian population will then realise that all this death, destruction and economic ruin caused by Putin's greed was all for nought and then he will be toast. -
I will exclude sexual predator Trump's jury-proven sexual assault case where it was a violent incident and there was evidence. But I do mention it because as many other sexual assault cases have been resumed under the NY Survivors Act. This proves that there was no bias against Trump and he was treated like everyone else with that case. The double standards are in this case where Trump has been appointed a special counsel, which is far more assistance than any other common criminal would get. The DOJ is pussy-footing around and is being overly cautious where he should have indicted Trump months ago.

The Myth of the Responsible Gun Owner: An American Nightmare (Part I)
LosLobo replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Google, the preferred search engine used by the general population of the world, ie not all but 80% of the world's population, uses Oxford Dictionaries as its reference. And it states as its the first choice definition : General "Affecting or concerning all or most people or things; widespread". ie 'books of general interest'. Apologies, IMHO, my definition is appropriate. Why ask me questions that you already know what my response will be. If you want to repeat your usual narrative feel free to go ahead I don't need to be your foil. I can define 'foil' if you want. -
The Myth of the Responsible Gun Owner: An American Nightmare (Part I)
LosLobo replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Yet, from your previous posts, you know already know countries that have a 'general gun ban'. With respect, are you baiting or trolling? As I put it? What English dictionary you like me to use to define the words I used, so you may better understand my post? In most countries of the west, a 'general gun ban' would not be a total ban but only apply to most of the general population, and exclude armed forces, police sporting clubs, farmers to kill pests, etc . That is, those with a real need for a gun. Most sensible western countries have logically passed laws to protect the human rights and lives of their citizens. -
The Myth of the Responsible Gun Owner: An American Nightmare (Part I)

How can I misconstrue data when I clearly stated 'there are a lot who were not criminals before the act and used legally obtained guns', as would be the case of murder suicides. I suggest the victims murdered in a murder suicide was not be statically classed as a suicide but a murder. ''Probably' in your post 'suicides would probably happen anyway' is just a biased opinion with out any statically evidence. Statistics have proven that stricter gun laws reduce not only gun deaths but suicides overall. In your above quote please point to where you stated 'the vast majority of shootings in the USA are done by criminals with guns'. I must admit I cannot 'follow' your 'logic' here. as most perpetrators of murder suicides generally would not be criminals when they buy their guns. -
The Myth of the Responsible Gun Owner: An American Nightmare (Part I)
LosLobo replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Only 40% of the 50,000 gun deaths yearly relate to criminals. 'Now for the rest of the story'...... Of those 20,000 criminals, there are a lot who were not criminals before the act and used legally obtained guns. Would it not be logical to have a general gun ban irrespective of your argument, which has proven to be effective in most western countries. This would possibly save tens of thousands of lives and uphold the human rights of the citizens against gun violence which the US and State Govts has failed to protect. Isn't time the US realised that they are now living in the 21st century and not the wild west of the 1880's with third world country gun laws. US gun deaths (usafacts.org) How can states help communities with high levels of gun violence? 'States have the obligation to protect life and ensure security for all through human rights-compliant law enforcement, community interventions, and tightening of regulations on firearms possession and use'. Free rides on Bangkok’s Yellow Line monorail during June trial
LosLobo replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
'Spanning 30.4 kilometres, the new monorail connects Lat Phrao in northern Bangkok with Samrong in the eastern part of the city'. Obviously a bit of spatial disorientation here, as Samrong in Samut Prakan is due south of Lat Phrao. Maybe they were confused with the Project Name, Eastern Bangkok Monorail (EBM) which obviously refers to running on the eastern side of Bangkok but north to south or perhaps Samrong in Ubon almost 600km away, which is in the east Thailand. -

No need to go back in history, a current ally of Putin who once said when he was president: "He (Putin) just said it’s not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be....." has exactly the same values. -
Trump Calls On DeSantis To Stop 'Woke' Disney In Flip-Flop On Feud
LosLobo replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
The latest corporation to go 'woke' is one of Trump's fast food favourites, Chick-fil-A. As De Santis has already defunded DEI in Florida maybe Chick-fil-A will be his next corporate victim. 'The fast-food chain, once a darling of conservatives, has joined other corporations in pursuing diversity, equity and inclusion policies, prompting some on the right to accuse it of going “woke.'' Conservatives Complain Chick-fil-A Has ‘Gone Woke’ Over D.E.I. - The New York Times (archive.md) -
Yes, false allegations facts supported with evidence on tape from his own big mouth. There was Trump on tape for the E Carroll trial, the NY fraud criminal trial, the pending Georgia indictment for election and RICO crimes and now the pending Mar-a-lago indictment for at least half a dozen crimes. Trump's big mouth has been a doubled-edged sword having lived by it he now has fallen on it.

I agree Trump was a symptom. But it wasn't Obama but Newt Gingrich and the Tea Party who initiated the racial animosity and division. Obamacare became the symbol of America's division flamed by the GOP's reluctance to pass a black man's affordable health care bill. Universal health care is a given in most western countries yet is still not available in the US, one of the richest countries of the world.
