A survey over here in Thailand showed over 50% doTransgender women often don't do the cut and some of them are lesbians. You're confusing gender identity with sexual orientation.

Once i cut down on rice i found i lost weight 12kg .plus i eat far more fruit veg and nuts here.my wife loves running and likes to eat healthy.so i guess it has helped me loads.but i dont run .just walk more.

We all are only on holiday here . Never residents according to the Thai govtI lived here 6 years on marriage extensions, but 2 years back I changed to marriage VISA.
I've had some great beach holidays in the Philippines, hiking in the mountains of China, 1 trip to Burma.
Doesn't cost much and I quite enjoy the excuse for a trip without the wife.
Not to mention I get my full British pension because I live in the Philippines (but only holiday in Thailand).

Thats strange.i realize people do not regard Thailand highly but i have never hidden the fact i live here and when my wife and i lived in the UK she was treated with respect and no one has ever tried to infer i was just some older guy married to a bar girl ,mind you they do think we live an exotic life out here.If exotic means going to Tesco to do the shopping and looking after the garden and the wife cleaning the house.then yes we live a very exotic lifestyleOn a serious note, Vern will not win this spat. The unfortunate truth, that many of us farang delude ourselves into rebutting, is that people (especially foreigners) affiliated with Thailand are given a poor reputation globally. Everyone is suspicious of farangs who end up here. And, without judging Vern, his interview (assuming it's not editorialized) lacked tact and potentially sheds some light on his character and education level. Who would tell Elon Musk to "shove it up his #$$"?
Many of us won't accept that Thailand is not well-regarded by outsiders (for mostly good reasons). I avoid telling anyone that I have been based here as not doing so would open me up to unnecessary attacks.

I have honked my horn hundreds of times never ever had a problem .and i hear Thais honking their horns all the time here in Pattaya this thread is rubbishIt remains a fact, that non-Thais are second class people; if Thais honk at each other it turns ugly, if a Farang honks at a Thai it ends in a fist-fight if you're lucky
