  1. Varies between £3.30 and £4.40 a pint in the UK.

On a recent visit to the UK, I ordered a small bottle of orange in a public house.
With £2 in hand, I nearly fell of the stool when they said £2.80...……….. what the flook!
I was more than happy to return to Thailand.
Was over in UK not long ago, went out with my brother, went for a sandwich ,,over 4 quid ,nearly fell off my chair ,and it was nothing special.

  2. The warning comes after the British Embassy in Bangkok revealed that many of the people it helped last year did not have insurance.
Lol...the British Embassy doesn't actually help anyone. All it does is say "screw you" or clean up the mess if you die.
Oh come on they dont do that much, screw you yes ,but thats about it

  3. I have found travel insurance which wiil sell me $250,000 coverage for my six-month stay in Bangkok for $1,000 if I select a $2,500 deductible. Now I must check the coverage exclusions carefully.  I have recovered from cancer,   have six stents in my heart and use motorcycle taxis.
So you are covered for a bad case of the flu and an upset stomach B) :D

  4. Have you been to T21 or looked at the preview video of this one? Guess not.
It is just the opposite of your comment....it is not similar to any mall.  Italy floor, UK floor, San Francisco floor, France, etc.    It is a unique themed facility unlike others.

Also, what location could be better?  Jomtien??
Those other stores you mentioned are off Sukhumvit tourists do not go there or visit places like Homeworks.
This T21 is at a major intersection with many hotels and tourists within a short distance. They picked a fantastic location I think. Unless you live near there; because then it may be a traffic nightmare.
I like it "May be a traffic nightmare"

But a normal Thai person can only earn around 10k/month, and with all the expats posting they need 50k+/month to live, whatever she earns is irrelevant to changes in exchange rates. In the last 3 years, I've lost 20k/month of my income (when in Thailand) due to exchange rate fluctuations. But I guess you're one of the guys married to the mythical rich female, Chinese, educated, hiso with wealthy Bangkok families.
All the Thai girls I ever dated were lucky to be earning 10k/month as checkout girls and farming families living in mud huts maybe with an income of 2k/month.
I dont care what anyone says, and to be honest dont much care,my wife is not hi so,and her family are not super rich, but she is educated and when she works earns far more than 10k a month as does our son who had a great education here and in the UK, her parents were ordinary folk who made money from humble beginings gave their children an education and they in turn have given their children even better educations .The family are now not to badly off, have never ever asked for anything and in fact if we were in dire straights would look after us in a heartbeat, so please dont knock all Thai people as most are just the same as most of us, I am sure if in your country you married some dole blodger or low class scrounging tart, they would be the same,as those here.
