  1. Well ring em up and ask them when do they stop pensions, if I don't send my proof of life form they will stop my pension as far as I know.
I got my frozen pension from the off I knew that I don't give a dam what your situation is
Yes if you are on a frozen pension you have to send a proof of life but we were not talking about that ,if you are a pensioner and they know your alive they do not stop your pension, that is what this conversation is about, however i am sure that they will reduce it to the amount it was when you left . As for your situation that is your business i was only saying what i had read on the govt website after you said they can stop your pension, kotherwise i have no interest whatsoever only stating facts.

  2. Don't know where you get that from maybe laws have changed, when I came here and you claimed UK pension and live in Thailand it's frozen if you don't go back to UK within I think 180 days and you still claim you are in breach of the UK law as I understand it and they have right to stop paying your pension because you are a lying criminal.

Why are you calling me a lying criminal,? All i did was qoute what i read a few days ago on the govt website that your old age pension is one thing they cant stop.if you know different please give us a link

  3. Getting some kind of health Ins is better than nothing,  it may depend on what age you apply dunno,  I applied at 67 and got cover for 32,000 baht a year and I budget that amount in monthly with every other cost of living here.

As for your acquaintance if he is caught out they would cut him off from his UK pension.
I read the govt rulings on this, they cannot stop your pension

  4. Different strokes for different folks.  Some prefer a large metropolis, some prefer a party beach city, some prefer a more rural environment.  San Sai is a pleasant Chiang Mai suburb.  Works for some, not for others.  It does show that for ฿2-4000 that you can get more than a grass hut or tin shack like some posters say.
I was joking really although we live just outside Pattaya its not for the party town effect, its just that it was handy for our sons education ,we had choices but Bangkok was to busy , and where my wife owns land and the familly own properties ,i like it but not to live, although now our son works the wife fancies going there.oop north. And living far cheaper

    How do I know what?

T 21 in Pattaya food court is 800 seats. Probably 4 times Central.

The plates are 35 to 45 b some less.

It will be packed all day I guarantee it.

Korat is not a major tourist destination.

Anything else or any more rumors??

    The Chinese will love it

  6. All i know is at weekend the traffic coming to Pattaya will be twice as bad as it is now. It will just be jammed with tourists and out of towners ,just like Central walking around and buying f all. As for Harbour Mall i am sure that the supermarket will soon close just as the one in Leam Chabang did,we were there the other day and it had no more than half a dozen shoppers in it.

  7. So you don't see a link to the poor running out of food, water and land and their eventual migration and Climate Change? Hint - it's what will result in the running out of the food, water and land.
No its just far to many for the land to sustain its been happening all through time, drought and famine, but its going to be ten times worse this time as thete are far to many people.

  8. To be honest i really do not think climate change is going to be the major ptoblem,as the worlds poor and uneducated breed ,faster and faster and as their food and water runs out,the tide of humanity running to countrys that have these things will be a tsunami, barriers will go up to try to stem the flood and wars will ensue,God help the population in the time to come and i just thank the sky fairy i was born when i was.
