What is the point of Pheu Thai even standing? We know what will happen if it wins. It will be removed from government, same as before. Why would this time be any different?

Looks like they want to have an election, ok they did promise one. If Pheu Thai does not stand, it is not an election. I hear you though, never liked these non alcohol days. Lets just call the charade, and tell the majority of Thai voters to go home, never really meant to have an election that Pheu Thai will win hands down.

I will keep an eye out for when the Pfizer Bivalent vaccine returns.

That wasn't so hard was it. I'm sure moderna bivalent is excellent.

However now you have an excuse not to get a booster. Heh. BTW still believing you are serious about wanting one. They post up the hospitals giving vaccinations every month on the Chaing Mai News facebook site. Hospitals and vaccination times do change month to month. Look in there and make some phone calls. That is if you want a pfizer bivalent.

    Cheers

That is interesting. Please provide details of where it is available and who it is available to. I have been dealing with one of the biggest private hospital groups in Thailand and it is not yet available to them for general distribution. They told me first priority, which is understandable, will be the front line health workers. They also told me there is no information when it will be available to the general public.

Contact the local hospitals giving vaccinations in your area. For example there are 4 or 5 hospitals giving vaccinations in Chiang Mai, any given month. Last month, April, The Chiang Mai Neurological Hospital had pfizer bivalent. I assume a couple others likely did too. As far as I could tell they were not limiting it to any group. No publicity about this. I came in expecting to get a regular booster, and was offered pfizer bivalent.

BTW I'm posting this up assuming you actually want a booster, so many post things for other reasons these days.

I think I am entitled to criticize it as it doesn't make any sense. It's a sign someone can't think for themselves, is jittery and easy to scare.

So,  i think a lot of them must still hold their irrational fears over covid.

Good to know what you think of Thais and Thai society. BTW, absolutely positive Thai people care about your opinions as much as bird excrement on a wall. Still it is amazing to see that 'western missionary culture' & saving the ignorant heathen, is still going as strong today as 150 years ago. Albeit, the religious side has been dropped.

What are the consequences for social solidarity when you can't see the other person

The eyes are the window to the soul.  As long as you can see a persons eyes you can relate to them.

Can't think of a better reason to wear mirrored sunglasses. Mirror shades and a mask, my look for this decade. Not showing "social solidarity", or 'unrelatable?! I'm an expat, why would I care.
