The Costly Illusion of UK Net Zero: A Dangerous Fantasy
Red Forever replied to Social Media's topic in World News
More Torygraph right wing drivel lapped up by blinkered climate change deniers. Still crying over Labour’s stunning landslide on July 1st? Cos the previous 14 years were oh so politically stable and sleaze free eh? -
Eraser Jonny only needs to see the words asylum, small boat, UK taxpayer funded or ECHR and the right wing drivel churns out in overdrive. I’ve followed the El Salvador couple’s story and consider that their case has merit. As for Tory Philp’s nauseating comment “they’re not even married “ Jeez………..

You really need to lay down in a dark room Eraser Jonny. Your sycophantic Trump posts are all over the place. Trump has insulted the democratically elected leader of a country which has been invaded by his (Trumps) controller Putin, threatened to send troops into Panama, had heated discussion with Denmark because he wants Greenland yet you pathetically say that he (orange moron) is not the leader of the “world’s policemen”! No wonder Trump says “I love the poorly educated “.

Europe's Fractured Response to Ukraine Crisis Faces Critical Test
Red Forever replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It’s good to see Starmer encouraging European leaders to come in line whilst keeping the mad MAGA at bay with diplomacy. I agree with Olav above that US should be told to get the feck out of Europe but it’s obvious that Lame Duck Donny’s ego won’t allow that to happen. There are 3 possible short term outcomes here: 1. Europe stands firm and Putin backs down. 2. Ukraine gives in to the threats and intimidation from US over mineral rights in return for armaments. 3. In the event that *2 happens, Lame Duck Donny convinces his master Vlad the Insaner to stop being beastly to other sovereign nations (at least until Donny’s out of office). I’ll go with *1 -
The words “small boats” in any headline is usually like a Pavlovian bell to A.N. xenophobes. Come on guys, and susanlea, up your game. Your oh so witty comments give me….erm…minutes of mirth. Fun fact: People arriving in UK by small boats account for under 1% of total entrants yet 80% of said boat people (when processed) are granted permission to stay.

5 posts in and all negative, off subject, led by AN’s resident Mr Negative. The Times article was quite upbeat in expectations of achieving net zero and reporting that Starmer said that there were no plans to dictate what or how people should eat. This is good stuff but the doom and gloom mob can’t handle positive articles. Boo hoo!

Credit to Starmer for being the grown up in the room. As for the orange bloviating bully crowing of the “great tv” that his assault on President Zelenskyy (assisted by the weird Vance) produced; he would be devastated to read the condemnation heaped on him by virtually all Heads of State in Europe for such “great tv”. Cant wait for the release of the Epstein files. Wonder if there will be tranches of sections redacted?

Austria’s Far-Right Blocked from Power Despite Election Victory

Ah there you are Susan. Still pedaling your N.S. drivel. -
You ask what is cheaper in Thailand. Ok here goes: Electricity, gas, beer, vegetables, hotels, taxi fares, restaurant meals, rail fares and more. I realise that none of the above can be brought back to Aus so please accept this answer as counter to your Thai bashing post.
