  1. No fraud? My backside. Mrs. baboon and pals were on the p!ss that night with the 500 Baht they received for voting 'correctly'. These people would vote for the Final Solution if there was a Tenner in it for them...
  2. I doubt they would bother, to be honest. Far easier just to ignore the constitution and front it out.
  3. Ah, but Señor Rolex said "it was an act of administering the country which came about by coup only". But yeah, any court will know what is expected of it and will act accordingly. Besides, they will be busy enough scavenging around for excuses to get rid of opposition parties and politicians than worry about petty little clauses in constitutions...
  4. Well prepared for new wave? I hope not. Terrible bloody music...
  5. Turn up with him at Suvarnabhumi, him in handcuffs, you, triumphant. A hastily assembled police reception committee will whisk you both off. Him to Never You Mind Where He Is and you to face prosecution and deportation for a multitude of offences. That would be the reward.
  6. And what is the betting that he has been 'sneaking' into Thailand whenever he fancies?
  7. Oh come on. As pointed out elsewhere in the thread, Krabi airport has a decent crapper so what more do you want?????
  8. Well I am proud to say that Mrs. baboon did not drink and drive. No. She just put a dud firework on the ground next to me. It was then when it went off. You have never seen an aging, slow, overweight man move so fast as my legs were being peppered with ordinance. 'Against stupidity the gods themselves fail to contend'....
  9. Interestingly enough, I am just getting over less than a bad cold which lasted about 3 days. Nobody likes feeling under the weather, but whatever it was that I had was nothing, really. I hope it WAS omicron, because it was a joke of an illness.
  10. Apologies for hijacking the thread, but would I qualify for any Covid extension? I entered on December 1st this year.
  11. Perhaps so, if they think THAI will make a killing all the while. It's them or nowt if you want to fly direct from the UK...
  12. A waste of space? Ha! Just wait until you see the size of the Mausoleum I'm sure I will be placed in...
  13. Perhaps you could try Propanolol and a basic antidepressant like Escitalopram? That's what I was getting from my GP in the UK. And please try not to be affected by the 'Just pull yourself together, you little poofter' brigade. But a word of warning - you do need to come off antidepressants slowly. Propanolol is taken as and when. https://www.theindependentpharmacy.co.uk/anxiety/guides/propranolol-guide
  14. Thai bashing? What, the UK haven't been changing their rules and regulations frequently too, causing a nightmare for the airlines? I am just saying I don't blame any airline flying between the two countries just to throw up their hands and say '<deleted> this for a game of soldiers'.
  15. No I am not contradicting myself. Of course governance is needed. However in my opinion, many are doing a bit of a <deleted> job when it comes to Covid.
  16. Me? Not really. When your number is up, it's up. Hopefully not for a while yet, mind you. And it doesn't take Nostradamus to foretell increasing worldwide poverty, hunger, crime and unrest, the longer this Covid hyper-hysteria continues...
  17. A handy scapegoat in case the world is not banging on Thailand's door come January the 4th?
  18. In other news, British Airways will not be serving Bangkok until at least October 2022, basically on the grounds that they can't be ar$ed with the ever-changing regulations. Can you blame them?
  19. That makes sense. Poll southern Thais born before 1970 and you will suddenly find he is quite popular.
  20. That makes sense. Poll southern Thais born before 1970 and you will suddenly find he is quite popular.
  21. One can 'What if' into infinity. What if Thailand opens up but your plane crashes? What if in two month's time there is an outbreak of bubonic plague in Pattaya or Phuket? In my opinion, you simply cannot run a society like this, based on the fears of the 'We're all going to die' brigade. Here's the thing - We ARE all going to die even if Covid is eradicated tomorrow. Here is what my GP said to me once: 'Baboon, it is important to enjoy life as best as you can, because one day something is coming along that will kill you, and there will be nothing I or any other doctor will be able to do about it.' Wise words. So yes, I support these protesters. If Covid doesn't finish off the masses, poverty and the associated problems that go with it, surely will.
  22. If you do manage to get something organised, I would suggest flying Qatar or KLM. They seem to be the most reliable.
  23. BA have thrown in the towel until next October. Will other airlines be joining them, I wonder.
  24. My visa has just been approved at 20:54 UK time. All you others who have been waiting ages, have faith...
  25. Try a J. Arthur before the flight and you'll see what I mean...????
