Surely these people were breaking the law using an agent? The only people I know who use an agent are those who don't have the 800K in the bank. The agent puts 800K in their accounts and then withdraws it immediately but claims to the I/O that it is seasoned. It's pretty clearly fraud.

I know a guy been here 17 years, he has used agents to extend his marriage visa for all this time. He is two years on overstay and agents can't do anything for him, and he doesn't have 400K in the bank. I'd lend it to him but I'd never see the money again as I'm guessing two years overstay meaning deportation.

Something to ponder on: ports were blocked in Yemen with US assistance and the population as subjected to massive bombing.....who exactly gave a care? 

Phils: TIT, without a sewage smell you would have no toilet in your condo. My advice is" learn to love the sewage smell.....it's part and parcel of being in Thailand, and better that having a smell that you don't know what it is. Just think if it was an unidentifiablele smell, it might well be a rotting corpse......so sewage smell let's you rest easy....it's only a bit of poo for goodness' sakes.

10 years or so ago, I paid around 2 million for a piece of  land and paid a local contractor about 5 million to build my wife's house (about 400 sqM). I certainly would never get 7 million for it if I tried to sell it. It has a few drawbacks but we like where it is and the garden which is beautiful.

My wife paid as well......for all the family, against my wishes./...never heard anything....I assume it was a scam.

This sounds as though there will be some unintended (or maybe intended) consequences.

Sad news for the ever stupid Liz Truss, but the UK don't get to decide whether these people are mercenaries. The people who captured them get to make the decision and prosecute them accordingly. 

I don't know about Shaun Pinner, but Adrian Aslin has form as a mercenary. These seems to be no war that he doesn't want o be apart of. He was in Syria fighting for the Kurds first in Aleppo then in Raqqa....I have no room in my world for warmongers like him.

Sometimes you have to bear the consequences of your actions. Sad but true. 

Aiden sound like a serial mercenary....two tours of duty in Syria and now these in Ukraine....sounds like there is no war he doesn't want to be a part of. Frankly, the world would benefit from having less warmongers.

He isn't going to be executed though,....he'll be swapped for some Russian assets frozen by the UK. The situation would have been easier but for the stupid verbal diarrhoea from gob<deleted>e Liz Truss.
