Very interesting - I wonder what was discussed. Maybe Thai Customs will introduce more stringent baggage checks? All it takes is a sniffer dog at check - in desks for flights to "no cannabis" destinations.

All a matter of personal choice. For me at 80 years of age, I prefer sitting in a comfy armchair in one of the plush bars/restaurants in Siem Reap's Pub Street enjoying a glass of chilled draught Angkor Beer, especially during hot and humid weather. Cannabis is of no interest to me - I hate the smell!

Oh what a sad life! Nothing better to do than keep driving around until a suitable Thai "prossie" is found outside a massage parlour that gives a happy ending. IMO disgraceful!. No further comment from me.

Thanks for replying and it was what I thought. Post covid many of the bars, restaurants and hotels remained closed and stopped trading. Siem Reap city underwent major infrastructure changes, including Pub Street and the surrounding entertainment areas. Out went the sleezy bars with their ghetto blasting music and in came new and refurbished bars/restaurants offering ambiance for all visitors.
