  1. Why not??? A popular man among many Northern folk, including some of us country bumpkins!! Sir, keep getting at this current incumbent Thai establishment.
  2. I totally agree but unfortunately I believe the military censors would remove it on orders "from above"! Happily, here in Cambodia there are many craft beer enterprises with no restrictions. Quote (14 March 2022) "Craft beer is not new to Cambodia, and in Phnom Penh alone, several well-established craft breweries have catered to the expat community to a large extent. However................. the growing number of craft breweries is creating a healthy competition rivalling the supremacy of the mass producers" https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501040821/expanding-the-ethos-of-craft-beer-in-kingdom/#:~:text=Craft beer is not new, community to a large extent.
  3. I wonder if she can perform the "London derriere" with a boyfriend named "Danny"?????
  4. According to Thai Tourism (TAT) - yes! Their Quote: "Safe and Trusted Thailand"????
  5. Could possibly be across the border by now with other Chinese mafia pals in Sihanoukville, Poipet or Phnom Penh.

  7. Any Indian Restaurants in the vicinity serving Vindaloo??
  8. I did until the Covid-19 pandemic. I visited large and interesting zoos in Chaing Mai, Khon Kaen and Rangoon (Burma). I often visited Khon Kaen Zoo as a Volunteer with the local Tourist Police.
  9. The Thai Police should have "thrown the book" at the assailant!
  10. Maybe the foreigners among these revelers were more concerned about visas (overstay etc) rather than drug tests??
  11. How about this - IMO a great idea!!
  12. "Safe & Trusted Thailand" (again!!)

  16. Not just Thai monks, how about these "fake" Cambodian monks who have been ripping off the Thais for 10 years to buy drugs!! (8 October 2022) - Thai authorities have detained five Cambodian men yesterday for having disguised themselves as Buddhist monks and soliciting money for the past 10 years............The fake monks told police that they had asked for public donations every morning and made 200 to 300 baht each. They spent some of the donated money buying methamphetamine pills at 40 baht a piece. https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501164741/cambodian-fake-monks-nabbed-in-thailand/
  17. Likewise when I lived in Thailand, especially at Tesco Lotus and Big C, provided I showed the receipt.
  18. Thank you for this information. I have just purchased a return ticket with Air Asia from Siem Reap to Bangkok DMK with outward flight on 9 November 2022. Air Asia clearly states that face masks must be worn on the plane, unless, I presume, when I am eating and drinking water during my one hour flight. It will be interesting to see what transpires. I then travel onwards from DMK railway station to Chiang Mai so will I have to wear a mask on the train? If I choose not to do so I presume I will not get fined? For reference, Cambodia is now more or less mask-less.
