  1. Those early days here were so cool, 50b for hut at White sand at what is now KC grand resort. no Lecky, check in was key and, a oil lamp. Small bonfires on the beach, smoking and drinking. Old lady on reception selling small bags of weed.
  2. Crust Bakery Klong Pro opposite the temple.
  3. Oh that's where it is in between the 2 car ferries, satellite image only shows a beach no pier. Just saying.
  4. I would ask them where their speedboat leaves from as I have never seen one boarding passengers from either of the main ferry ports. just saying and would be very interested to know.
  5. He opened a bar/café in Klong Son a few years ago, it was not very successful, and closed. I don't know if he is still about.
  6. Yes it is still there down a very steep hill . A short walk around from there around 'Rock sands" resort will bring you past some of the cheapest places on the beach, 'Pens Bungalows' are my favorite, and IMO the best restaurant on White Sand beach, rooms around 600-800baht. By the way I think I recognize the guy in the army shirt his name is Choy and still here and still the same tash. I avoid him.
  7. Just to remind all I did post about Centre Point ferry is back running and they issue return tickets. Very limited service at the moment only 4 a day (unless they put on more for the holiday). earlier this month I used it and it only had about 10 vehicles on it. You can only buy tickets on the Trat side, from Koh Chang just drive straight on pay other side. You don't have to get out the car and the nice lady selling tickets Smiles, which is more than I can say of the miserable lot at the other ferry.
  8. That's not funny my GF told me her buffalo is very sick.
  9. I take it out the freezer, leave it out but put in fridge while still cold to the touch.
  10. Depends on the area, but just cross hatch the original tiles, with a grinder (Diamond blade).
  11. No you are wrong it is still valid within the country as is your extension until the expiry date.
  12. He's always got Anutin, to deliver spare parts for him.
  13. I don't understand, I thought he had been found guilty in his absence, so why will he be held on remand? Normally if your on remand, and can post bail, and not a flight risk, then you're released on bail. I don't know how it works here, but in the UK, if your on remand and have money, then you can buy/have almost anything you want, phone, internet, TV, food, etc.
  14. If you are only on remand and have money, you can have almost anything you want within reason of course.
  15. That is the point. Don't overstay.
  16. I'm beginning to feel like a mother. JFC
