  1. On a side note I brought a car (for the missus in my name) and it still has Chonburi plates, we were over in Trat from Koh Chang where we both live, stopped at a 7/11 to buy somethings, a Cop who was in the shop asked her where we were going, my missus thinking it might be illigal with those plates, told him we were going for a holiday on Koh Chang LMAO...... . On the other hand I brought my car in BKK with Chiang Ria plates, and didn't want to be associated with a known drug smuggling province and being possibly stopped everywhere I go, so I did change the plates to TRAT it took nearly a week to get the new plates with hours spent at the LTO and only they were allowed to fit them.
  2. He will need a copy of your passport with a valid visa/extension in it. I once had a Problem registering a car, because by the time I got my act together the guy had left and his visa was out of date, Luckily it was a Falang and when he got back 3 moths later he gave me new copies, up to then I had been driving it in his name.
  3. Now doesn't that look ideal for star gazing..................
  4. Is The Thaiger on TAT's payroll ?
  5. Yeh but it might make some sit up and take notice if they got 2yrs no ifs or buts, especially if one of their friends got banged up. Time to have an amnesty and BUY the guns back as other countries have done, instead of giving away 10K to buy one.
  6. You don't HAVE to switch it to your province, which would mean even more paperwork to get new plates, and that is a process that takes days to get the new plates. But if that's what you want to do fair play, but completely unnecessary.
  7. Thanks for your reply. Their mods are a lot more liberal in what can be posted, if they don't like it it is simply removed. ...........🤐🤐
  8. If you don't change the gun laws here nothing will change. 2yrs min for just having a gun, should be implemented ASAP !
  9. Thai or Falang ? he obviously won't be able to walk around alone, he could also pick a 'girl' by feel init.
  10. I like to read the BP and the comments, but over the last several days, the comments do not appear, is it just me ? or is it everybody, just wondering if it's a problem with my laptop. Thanks
  11. https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2719014/military-generals-halved-by-2027 And still not one has been sidelined TTBOMK
  12. The Abbot sounds like he needs a bit of Christianity himself, willing to take Free English lessons but doesn't like Christianity . If it's free the Monks will take anything.
  13. It's crazy that they are even allowed, a big distraction to drivers, as if the driving is not bad enough as it is.
  14. So I suppose he didn't get a tip ...................just asking.
  15. Not condoning this POS driver but she can barely walk, staggering all over the place, she was obviously off her head on something.
  16. Is this a related forum I ask myself, and any way how can the image of the military be harmed any more than it already is, they are the one's, who harm the image of themselves, even by this act alone, of banning the reading, they are heaping even more bad imagery on top of the huge pile of it.
  17. And the amount of Generals has been reduced by how many ? was that not talked about before ?
  18. Oh thank god for that I feel so much safer now, as I'm sure we all do, knowing the military will protect us all from,.... err hang on a minute err...no sorry I give up......
  19. So that's about 3.125 kilo per bag. the UK dogs would be all over it. Idiot thinking he could possible get away with it.
  20. Dogs can sniff out cigarettes and drugs, and then it would be scanned, plenty on YouTube about UK customs.
  21. While you are correct, the brakes don't 'Slam' on they come on slowly as the air pressure drops, which the Audio buzzer in the cab should warn you (and the gauges). I used to test HGVs in the UK where the air is pumped out without the engine running until the buzzer sounds, and then start the engine and the air build up is timed, I have watched HGVs tested here and they never do that test, along with a multitude of other tests they do not carry out. Perthitic init especial considering foreigners are not allowed to be testers/mechanics.
  22. I was thinking he might slip on the hospital stairs he's cleaning, and smash his head open, revealing a black hole of nothingness. That's if he is really allowed out of his padded cell and trusted to even use a mop.
  23. Again Thailand and their lax gun laws, should be 2 yrs Min just for owning one, 5 yrs for using it, in public + the causing injury sentence. Thailand really needs to wake up.
