Well that is not exactly what has been asked for they have asked 500b if you read my 2nd to last post.

I have lived here on Koh Chang for 20 yrs, and it did come of a surprise, if you can state of any person in those 20 yrs that has had to pay a service fee for a 90 day report pray tell, and I don't mean paying an agent to do it, even they don't pay any money to immigration.

What will be their 'service fee' be to do their job.

Well an UPDATE, Yesterday the original Immigration Officer here, went to my wife's shop, and told her that, he can take care of my marriage extension for 2,400 baht ! Of course the fee is 1,900 baht and you can bet that is what the receipt would show. He also went on to tell her about the 100b service fee for the 90 day report, is because they now they have 6 staff and the office has A/C, how laughable these people are, oh and it's always had A/C, so now they want to charge us for their Air Conditioning........

Maybe he saw an opportunity and took advantage of it. Well it was me they pissed off so by refusing their extortion 'fee', if that pissed them off you can hardly blame me, tit for tat init. I don't like anybody trying to extort money from me, so why should I put up with them doing so, Police or not.

Are you sure it's an oil change warning light and not just the 'Service' light as they can come on for various reasons, mine has been on for 2yrs now, and the diagnosis is that it is the oxygen/fuel sensor, that a. they did not have in stock....b. 4k to change...c. my fuel consumption is just the same. I have learnt to just ignore it. Oh and they charged me 500b just for the diagnosis.

As far as I know there is no external filter on a CTV box, it is inside and requires the bottom pan to be removed to clean it properly, having said that I have never seen them do that even at the Main dealership. I have mine changed every 30K to be on the safe side aka every 3rd engine oil change.

Do you mean LOR ? It is a Letter Of Residence, NOT a Certificate whatever you or others might say.

Nice little earner I ring and nearly 44k , and these gold shops are virtually the first shop near the doors, they are almost asking to be robbed.

Yes we know about the charges for Letters Of Residence that some IO charge, but this 90 day reporting charge is over the top, how often do you need a LOR/COR ? In all the years I have been here, I have never heard of Anybody being charged for a 90day report, in fact the fine for not doing the 90day report is 2K but Cheaper without a receipt, normally 1K so I have heard.

Photography in an immigration office is not allowed, and I would presume that includes making a vid.
