Bright spark uses a false name to change fake notes and when the game is up she lies to the police.
She even decides to use notes with the same serial numbers at the same booth, mastermind.
Someone that stupid is probably safer in a Thai jail than left to their own devices.

Hmm, why the one way traffic ????
Perhaps 17 connected Thais returned to serve the remainder of their sentences only to be immediately released on landing.
The thousand or so other Thais imprisoned abroad begged to remain where they are to serve their sentences. ????

I have found the exact opposite to be the case. Other than immigration and some amphoe-personnel (when trying to get married), I can think of only 2 Thais I've encountered who made me want to cuss, in several years here.
The wife and mother in law don't count so none have ????

Sorry, I will try to be intelligent on this no news story. Nah, nothing intelligent to say.
Lighten up. This is not your forum, if people want to be light hearted that is up to them.
It's a no story about banning things that don't exist, you expect an intelligent response to that?
Did you think with your height of intelligence that the first post you responded to wasn't just a joke.
You felt the need to call it arrogant and tell him about trials in 7/11 last year that no doubt he already knew about?
Enjoy your Sudoku

I don't have any experience of this but as you aren't getting much of a positive response I'd suggest making sure you have the 20k as you know they are the rules and it would be unfortunate to be denied entry because of it.
I think the pattern of travel you describe wouldn't raise any eyebrows with immigration so unlikely you would be asked to show it but just take the money in case.
Can't help with the flight requirement question, sorry.

Can't you just get over to Ban Pu Nam Ron border with Myanmar and cross over there? If you have a land border crossing exempt available then come straight back in with 30 days.
Don't hang about, if the hotel staff have picked up on your stay being expired I would get out of that hotel ASAP.

Hey, that must be the most clever and arrogant comment ever. he of course meant he haven´t seen one shop that have. Actually I have not seen one too. And that must be because they didn´t sell long time, and not many 7/11 had it. It was just in a test stage.
That's because you didn't go into a 7/11 that had one during the short testing stage.
If you had, you probably would have seen one.

What is illegal in renting out condos on weekly or even daily base? I never heard about it. Those things are official and there is mostly always a contract.
Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile appMany landlords use Air BnB and similar to rent out short term and it is illegal.
For those landlords wanting to rent for days and weeks (less than a month) they should have a license to do so according to the hotel act of 2004, most obviously do not.

I'm a long-term tourist who likes to enjoy touring beautiful Thailand and has lived in the same condo for many years ????
that fair's enough BBi1 and there is nothing wrong with that IMO, well I couldn't care less how others choose to stay here or if a landlord rents out a place bending the rules, it doesn't affect me.
It can just be a little confusing for people with some of your comments.
For example, Elaviejero was pointing out that tourists don't rent condos. What he was implying is don't wave around a condo rental agreement to an IO if entering on a tourist visa as there is nothing to gain except suspicion of someone abusing the Tourist visas and he is correct.

Sure they do! In my condo I see some very short-term rentals being done to tourists staying for a week or so. Annoying to see these types of people but they do happen throughout most condos.
Most condos do not rent out short term to tourists and I believe it is often illegal. Perhaps many in your condo block do but then you are also a tourist which is why I find it odd that you are annoyed seeing 'these types' when you yourself are 'these types'.
TVF, what a place LOL

And the the Police will be carrying a spare helmet for these kids or they will already have theirs in the cars??
It's a great idea, the parents can leave home later knowing that they can call on the traffic police to deliver their kids to school for them.
Traffic control and safety for other drivers? No problem, what another fantastic well thought out idea.
I'll give it one day. Too generous, I'll say this is binned as soon as the photo parade finishes

Lastly as I have a WP already for a non BOI it looks like I need to cancel this to get the new one under BOI.
Can a WP issued in one province be cancelled in another?
I think you need to do it locally but I am unsure so it might be easier for you to ask your issuing labour department office unless anyone else here knows.
For BOI questions you could call them or just pop into chamchuri square, their numbers 02553 8111. They have plenty of English speakers and are very service orientated unlike some departments here LOL

Thanks, that looks promising, don't want to loose my Non o extension.
I have the same and asked the girl here who sorts ours out for us to call the BOI to see if anything has changed and they just confirmed themselves that you can and there are no changes planned in the future

In BKK BOI office they are in the same room 20 meters apart. I was talking about a visa.
i see, the OP has a visa and extension and just wants the WP.
100% he can get his WP through BOI and remain on his current permission to stay.

It's the same, someone reported on here a few weeks ago how easy it was.
no financials and next day turnaround.
The letter from spouse otherwise normal docs.

NO, I got told by immigration in BKK to get a non B
Well, they were wrong. Chamchuri Square staff are very helpful, perhaps ask them this time and see what they say.
Also, ask immigration again if a work permit can be issued for a normal company.
In fact, ask immigration about anything related to work and I am sure their default answer will be, you need non B

Being his complexion, he should have known the day was coming. I keep mine up to date and to the minute! Just follow their laws. They are put in place for a reason!!!
Me too! I started using my wifes Ponds whitening lotion, I am invisible to the authorities now.
I am surprised it's only you and I who have picked up on this little trick.

It's a poor effort from the girl.
She could have at least finished off the look with a brown belt.

It's good that some bigwig can cream some money off introducing new technology to control marijuana.
In the mean time and after said technology is introduced, everyone who chooses to can just carry on buying readily available, cheap weed as per normal. No extract, no oil just a good old fashioned bamboo bong. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Change the water regularly though ????
(and <deleted> don't spill it!!)

The fella overstayed so is getting blacklisted, fair enough.
But it's not enough! I think he needs his face and passport details shared on Thai news because I am sure the people of Thailand give a shit about such a heinous crime and just to round it off a good bashing from all the fine upstanding perfect TVF angels.
That'll teach the monster ????

Yes, you can 100% get WP for BOI with your Non O.
My company wanted me to switch over to Non B and extension based on work but I refused.
If the company tells you that you have to change to Non B and extend on that instead, they are either lying to you, are not aware or the companies policy is to only apply for the WP on a NON B through them.
It is up to you to highlight that they can get your WP on your current extension and if they refuse to get the permit whilst your on your Non O whether or not you decide to work with them.
If possible try to stay on your Non O. It is simple enough to go back to a Non O and extend should you leave the employer but it is unnecessary hassle.

actually, the sign was up in 1998 at DM, and they weren't real happy that I had travellers cheques...and an open return...but let me in, anyway.
That signs not much good to tourists that have just got to the airport

Shame though to kill someone by accident the guy looked genuinely upset and broken.
It is, and he would feel remorse but i am fairly certain he was not to blame.
The amount of times I have had close calls with people crossing main roads or turning into main roads with no lights on dark stretches I am honestly surprised I haven't done the same.
You can only go so slow before you just aren't getting anywhere and you would think the person would have seen the headlights coming and the sound of the car before the driver saw him in the silent darkness ahead.
Help.... Im on overstay
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I think it is very unlikely he would be checked on the way to the border but he could be, as he could be on the way to the airport.
The check points as far as I have been told by others going to the border have only ever been checked for ID purposes and not their visa status but there's a risk of course.
I would think his biggest risk is the hotel staff who from the OP apparently know he is on overstay.
