  1. This does not affect me because Google have blocked me on You Tube saying that I did something in my account, either a comment or something I posted, was against their rules. I have appealed many times, but to no avail. I have very rarely commented and have NEVER posted anything. Luckily I have another gmail address which I can use, but it just seems that Mr G thinks they are all powerful. Unfortunately I like Google Earth, Maps, Translate, Lens etc etc.
  2. But of course, the self-charging gets it's regenerative kinetic energy from the movement given by the petrol engine, no? So it all comes from petrol.
  3. Thank you for a good answer. So a self charging runs on petrol, a plug in runs on electricity
  4. OK. I assume an FA is the same as an FD.
  5. Off topic, this was my version of MS-DOS!
  6. I see ads on TV (UK) for self-charging hybrids, and plug-in hybrids. What's the difference please. If it's plug in, what does the petrol engine do? Take over when the battery is flat.
  7. Totally agree. Mine is the same idea, but each of your windows is a folder on mine.
  8. And driving a Ford Anglia? 555
  9. Or cut the Schuko off and fit a standard 3 pin Thai plug.
  10. Don't need any extra software. Simply Windows
  11. Not always, and not recognised by some members on here. But I don't care. My W11 PC, AIO and laptop all work well, are synced together and have never let me down. I do music production on the tower, which I put together myself many years ago. i5, 16GB RAM, 1TB Samsung SSD. Oh yes Gamma, a Fractal case with a window.
  12. No, sorry I spoke. I know you do not like the Cloud, but as a further backup you could subscribe to Microsoft Family 365, register 5 email addresses and get 6 TB of storage, accessible from anywhere, plus 600 minutes of Skype calls if you needed them. All for 79 quid a year.
  13. How often do you look at your photos. And as for videos, you can get almost anything via torrent or streaming.
  14. I guess Immigration and most banks are not 'business nerds' as most are still on W8 or 10. And do not know how to make a tidy desktop other than auto-arrange to the left. As for DRDOS, 80160, 6502, CPM Z80.......my Asus i5 with W11 does all the business I need. But I am not a nerd!
  15. How many properties in Thailand fit Schuko sockets? But yes, the adapter pin can be used if, as you say, the cable is 3 core, or the socket is earthed. And how many cables have capacitors built in? Surely short the pins on the cable whilst connected to the appliance.
  16. Uninstall Malware Bytes? Or get one off Lazada or ebay as I did for W11 Pro years ago.
  17. No the white plug has no fuse, or earth. Sounds like something inside the 'stading garment steamer' has gone amiss. You could try another mains cable. Stop wearing stading garments then. 555
  18. They do not have any interest in the OPs estate if he does not put it in his will.
  19. Then luckily the power button on a Fractal is on the top, as I think most are. I personally have never seen a tower with the power button on the side. Free Windows 10 Pro Product Key - Grameen Bank (grameen-info.org)
  20. Sorry, I did not realise this was a test....PUT & GET????? Of course mistakes are made in all fields not only computing. Doors should not fall off Boeings. Ships should not hit icebergs. Challenger should not have been launched. But they do, humans are not infallible. Anyway, back to your OP. Did you find a suitable drive?
  21. I worked at ICT Computers in Gorton, Manchester when they were using reed switches instead of electronics
