    I recently transferred from my Foreign Currency Account with Bkk Bank to my UK bank. Had to fill in the form at the main branch. £20,000 cost me £126 in charges, no conversion involved at all.

    So are you saying that there was no 'conquering' of other countries before 1801? And I thought they used chopsticks in Hong Kong.     I think people in those Few countries were building houses out of wood way before UK, or was it just England, went there to teach them. And as for knives ( with a V) & forks...........didn't do very well in Hong Kong did they.

    Reply in agreement to scuba and BritMan. My Google account and email are UK registered, so I guess that's why it installed. As B Man says, to activate it you will need a UK SIM in your phone. Can you get an OTP via Skype?

    You do not need any SIM card in your phone to connect to the Internet or to install an app on Google Play if you connect via WiFi. I just did it on my phone with a Thai SIM and no VPN.

    I do my online UK banking from here, no VPN, no problems at all.

    I used Express for 2 years renewing it with a different emails. But because they wanted $120 per year for renewal I went onto NORD now at $80 for 2 years. Both seem to work OK, with BBC detecting it occasionally.

    OK, up to you, but I would have thought that a good rub every time you clean the car would do the job. As long as it is not the actual plastic which is yellowing, in which case replacement is the only solution. This has got to be a very long, confusing post, started by someone who simply cannot be bothered to clean the lights himself.
