    When I used to do my 90 days in person, the IO put my passport into the reader, tapped a few buttons on the PC, out came a printed paper, which was then torn in half, and that was it. No TM47 needed. Now doing it online myself, I have to tear the print out myself !

    What a silly statement, the water was intended to put out the ciggie (in the man's mouth?) and accidentally splashed him. Watch the video again. The water went right behind the 'offender'.

    Commense????? Look at the video on Page 1, and you may see that the man smoking is far away from the green gas bottle on the left, which has a pan sitting on top of it. I am in no way condoning the man's smoking, simply questioning the vendor's reason for throwing the water at him.

    If the gas stove was lit for cooking, that poses a far greater risk than a cigarette a few metres away.

    Invoice for specs with Essilor varifocal lenses. Is Bht 9050 each a competitive price. Used Zenni ever since.

    So it is very similar to a Wise or Revolut card. Although with those two you can do International Transfers.

    Both Wise and Revolut are Debit Cards, but still get a Bht 250 charge for cash withdrawal.

    I use them all the time both here and in UAE. So efficient. Revolut is the same. Not to use for getting cash out of ATM unless Bht 250 doesn't matter to you.

    There are several companies here who do travel insurance. I used a broker called Frank Insurance and went with AXA last time I went out of Thailand. Luckily I didn't use it. The one stupid thing about the policy is that it doesn't start until 3 hours before your departure time, so if you had an accident or hold up while driving to the airport, it would not be covered. Not too expensive, Bht 1200 for two weeks.

    No idea, never read one, sorry. But I guess you are likening me to Scrooge. Christmas music in a Thai supermarket in mid-October is definitely out of place.

    They were playing Jingle Bells in my Lotus last week. I asked them to turn it off until 1st December. They did.
