Box of Cct. Breaker, Blade etc Connectors
The standard Thai way of joining mains cables together is a good twist and some black tape. Tried to buy 2.5mm three core mains cable for an extension. Cannot find, even online. Global House only sold it in 30 metre coils. Only need 10.

Security Check Before Flight.
Yep, did BKK-DXB-MAN last month. Checks at both securities. Safety first. No buses between terminals, all on automatic trains.

Wise vs Revolut - This is what I've found out
It is the same, quoting GBP, if you send GBP or previously converted THB to your Thai bank. I've done it both ways and there are pennies, or satang, in it. DO NOT send USD, or GBP to Thai bank as they will use THEIR exchange rate as and when the dosh arrives. Just to say that I did a Bht 10,000 transfer from WISE yesterday, for Personal Expenses. Arrived at 14.02 as an International Transfer.

Beer prices
I turned 15 in 1962 in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, in the North of England, having started my first band. At the club where we rehearsed, Whitbread Tankard was 1/6 a pint, that's THB 37 !!! . Still going strong 62 years later.

What have you achieved this week?
TODAY: Decanted 10 litres of Sauvignon Blanc into a new demi-john, ready next month or so. Put the new woofer in my Paradigm Studio 20s, came from USA via DHL so had to pay Bht 400 duty. What a sound! Had my pedicure in town. She only asked for Bht 100, but gave her 200! Bangkok Bank changed the old address in my banking app. Yep, cut my lawn so 7000 steps yesterday. Changed strings on my Variax, installed Cakewalk and had a blast on it. Baked a loaf in my breadmaker, cookies and burger buns in my oven. Had a few Tappers later. Now, what about tomorrow?

Things that annoy you in Thailand
So many Thai restaurants bring the pot of rice first, because it is already cooked, then you get main course 10 minutes later to eat with cold rice. Then your spring rolls come, because they had to heat the oil fryer up. Hey TIT, love it or leave.

Why is Pattaya 103FM off air and up for sale
I just learned that the Flashback presenter Bill Rollins, to whom I listen every Friday night because of his Beach Boys slot, and who invites emails to ask for requests, died six months ago. No wonder I get no replies or requests played.

Foreign Nationals Face Account Bans in Bangkok Bank Crackdown
On reading this topic, I thought i would check the KYC, no not the fried chicken shop, Know Your Customer, only to find that my Registered address was one I had in UK almost 20 years ago when I first came here, I was still a singer at a pub in Pattaya. So I asked the nice girl if she could change them, I had my yellow book, passport and phone. 'Oh no cannot do without Passbook', of which I have four. When I showed her my excel with passbook numbers in it, and wrote my Thai address in English, it only took a further half hour and two more operatives to do it. Even then, when I got home, some of it was wrong, so I had learned how to do it myself by watching. They DID NOT take a copy of my passport!

Things that annoy you in Thailand
Being asked to pay Bht 45 for a can of beer in bulk (12), and only 41 individual cans. 555 Oh yes, and BOB! But seriously, the littering, which Thais just do not seem to see. The volume of the music at parties, funerals, weddings, markets etc.

PRB? We're not all au fait with US beers. Mind you, if I mentioned Old Peculiar, Hobgoblin, Oiddle in the Hole (Dorset), Shnoodlepip, Very Big Moose, Polly Don't Take No Mess or Punk IPA, you would be asking me the same question. I am sure there are many independent breweries in USA with weird sounding beers. Here we go, off topic again. 555

Just been in that supermarket whos position is favourite among Buddahs, to buy beer for the weekend. Here's what I found! The cashier was flummoxed as to why I presented 12 individual cans at the checkout.
