I have just done mine after 2 years away. Had to pay 2 years back tax plus a 300 baht fine.
Only had to pay 650 Baht for the PRB. There is no fine or back payment on this.

VIN.... Vehicle Identification Number. It will be found usually on the bulkhead at the rear of the engine compartment.
Take this number to a dealer and their computer should have a record of servicing.
PM Da Roadrunner if you want someone ex UK motor trade to go with you to appraise the car.

Velly solly, this same same hole left when tourism went down the drain. Caused by Covid, not our responsibility.

Can anyone recommend a good LPG servicing shop in Bangkok?
Thanks

You may want to check if Cockpit fit copy parts. Only use genuine original parts for brakes. Copy parts can cause a variety of problems, such as scoring the discs if they are too abrasive (sintered pads), or lacking in stopping power. Conversely, overheating can occur if the pad is too soft.
In answer to your original question, 2.5 ml is coming towards end of pad life. At zero ml the pad will cut into and ruin the disc (expensive). You will know it from the horrendous squeal it makes.

They call me 'ATM'... another name for Farang, 'walking ATM machine'.

Once they get the car in their name it is not unusual for them to disappear with the car.
An expensive way of getting rid of the wife!

The Thai males often have a short fuse, it does not take much to get them fired up. Avoid.

In Thailand everything is legal, as long as the police are being paid.

I have a kasikorn bank account with 800,000 + for my retirement visa, but bank book ahs not been updated in the last 6 months
Would I find it easier to go for Non O based on marriage to Thai.
Forget the Thai Embassy London..... pain in the <deleted>. You already have the requirements for a Non O. Suggest enter on 30 day exempt. Update the bank book and get a letter from the bank stating you hold an account. You can then convert to Retirement at Chaengwattana. Most say Retiremment Visa is easier to obtain than Marriage Visa.

Your report is very unusual.
I can't recall many folk being asked for onward flight as arrival Thai airport.
Why were you questioned.
How long ago did this occur?
3 years ago. I have heard of others being asked for return or onward tickets, not unusual.
Why was I questioned? Well I guess it's not everyday a blue bird with orange feet and a yellow beak shows up at Immigration!

I entered Thailand before on 30 day Visa Exempt. No problem with the airline re lack of a return ticket, but on arrival Immigration asked for it. I told them obtaining a Visa in London was difficult and that I would convert to Retirement Visa at Chaengwattana. They let me in. It helps if there are previous Retirement Visas in your passport and you can prove you have 800K in the bank. All else depends on the whim of the Immigration officer. I have always found it helps if one does not look like a hippy.

Da Roadrunner is by nature a serial offender but has never paid a speeding ticket. I just file 'em in the waste bin. Do as I do, go so fast the photo is a blur.
DLT Chatuchak have a Police office but most others do not.

This country never ceases to amaze. Can Director-General Dr. Tares Krassanairawiwong please educate us all as to how we are going to eat and drink wearing a mask?
Even more worrying, he's a doctor, supposedly one of their brightest citizens?
Next they'll expect us to eat pu$$y while wearing a mask..... Duh, my brain hurts.

If all else fails I guess he could commit a crime and the cops would give him a room at their so called 'Bangkok Hilton'.

Serious... I actually witnessed this! Don't know why the hospital simply did not provide a letter for immigration. They actually wheeled the patient into Immigration on a gurney attached to a drip. He neither looked too well nor too happy. Amazing Thailand!

Is it worth contacting the consumer advice place at CW? and does anyone have that address?
I do not have the address but it's in the basement under Immigration. I doubt you'll ever see your money though.

Ah, combination of loss of face and lack of responsibility. Welcome to Thai culture.
I am surprised they did not charge extra. Bugs are sold as food in Thailand.

T Cut is old style.
There is a more advanced two in one product called Silicone Wax Rubbing Compound, as used by car body shops.
Found in shops that supply automotive paints. Works wonders, cuts n polishes in one go.
