I tried to do it online with CW many times, but have only succeeded once in many years. Application rejected is the norm. I even wrote a polite letter to them about it.... And so I went there.... 470 waiting and no hope of getting seen that day, so I left. Next day I queued yet again, 140 waiting, took 2 hours. Progress comes slowly in Thailand..... if it comes at all. At least they now have a QR code on the ticket, so you can go have lunch while monitoring the queue on your phone. And how can they call it a 1 year visa when you have to go every 90 days?

In similar news, Phuket’s tourism industry has been shaken by a scandal involving five women from Uganda, arrested for offering sex services in the island’s entertainment hub. If you invest (I think its about 200,000 Euros) in places like Portugal or maybe Spain you can get residence visa that leads to citizenship. Just buy property there and you comply with the requirements.
