I caught Dengue a few years back, hospital stay for 5 nights, but 6 weeks until fully recovered and normal energy levels returned. Asked what happens if you contract it again, apparently, if it's the same strain, there is no effect within 2 years, but if it's a different strain, the symptons are twice as bad! The aching was the worst part, mainly in the back.
I am led to believe if two different strains fight against each other in your body,

As far as I am aware there are 3 strains of dengue fever. You can only be immunised against one of them at any time. If you are immunised against one of the other 2 strains, the initial immunisation for the first strain fails and you are susceptible to infection by that strain.
There are four strains of the virus: DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4. The disease spreads by the mosquitoes as they bite a host – who is already sick with the disease and still has a fever,

That Dengue fever is not funny, I've had it twice first time they kept me in hospital, rip off merchants, the second time I stayed home,
Why do they need to take blood test every day?
Make sure you have loads of water and eat plenty of Khao Tom, rice porridge soup,

We are grand parents, my wife and I, she idolises the ground she walks on, everyday she needs to hear what she's been doing and where she's been, when she's feeling down my wife just looks through the video's we have. I hope that grand mother gets arrested also.

In the Samsung shop they have or had a new tablet for 7000 baht special offer, my old tablet just completely died on me, they couldn't fix it, first they tried a new battery, that didn't help, it would have cost almost 4000 baht to replace something in it,
Was annoying as it was in almost perfect condition never been dropped I dont play games on it,

They are here to stay there is some serious money being spent down in Rawai, Take a look around Rawai water park there is a moo baan down there, There is a play area down there a couple of months back I took my grand daughter to have a run around when we arrived it was all quiet not realizing what goes on down there, it's quite a good setup with 2 swimming pools and an indoor activity area, come 12 noon all these kids came from nowhere and all Russians they have a school down there and the café is where the kids have their diner, It's a whole Russian community, they even have a language school maybe thats where they all get their ED visa's from, you should take a look one day,
I spoke with a Thai woman yesterday and she said she took her son down there once, enough she said,
Once that new project is built on the beach front it will certainly be like little Moscow,

This is very sad news and most unfortunate for Martinez personally as well as the team and the fans. Martinez is possibly the most important player we have to galvanise the team by his sheer presence and ability with brilliant defending and reading of the game and superb ball distribution quite apart from the way he lifts team spirit in the way he conducts himself.
I wish him all the best on a full and complete recovery. I fear that without him we are likely to lose more points than we would otherwise because he is that good

Thanks for that warm sentiment Rick. You have moved into my list for my 2024 Xmas ecards.
I try to be fair and observational. I like good footy, and United have played some great stuff down the years. And I'm sure they will again hit those heights. Recall Gordon Hill and Steve Coppell? Cutting in from the wing and putting one (or two) in the top corner?! Wow!! Sends shivers down yer spine just thinking of it.
Wasn't GH United's leading scorer the season they sold him?

Ya fanny, did you even watch the match ? He won the ball back to set up Garnacho's 2nd goal & worked tirelessly throughout the match - I remember you said on here that he wouldn't even score 10 goals this season - Well that's his 10th, ya fanny 👍
He actually had to shots on goal and scored with one,

I can remember the Koh Chang Seaview case when Tripadvisor (or Booking), put up a banner on the Property's page warning patrons that the hotel sued for a negative report. Interestingly the hotel has a different name now.
It was Trip Advisor. it kind of back fired on that hotel they did have a few negative reviews also on other sites,
That warning is still there on TA but on booking.com they have changed their name,

Yes we do charge if excessively dirty but in this case we didn't
How do you charge? direct off the guest or through the resolution center? who decides how dirty it is?

Maybe you should start adding a cleaning fee, many people do, if not a cleaning fee add it under a management fee,

Don't want to disagree with you and get into an argument... because I completely disagree with the guest instigating law suit based on a review comment... But...
You didn't consider the place was dirty enough to warrant and additional cleaning charge, but did consider it dirty enough leave a bad review of the guest ??...
Genuine questions:
Did you see the place at all ???.... in person or photo's, or were you going by what your cleaner mentioned ?
i.e. could your comment have been an over-reaction, or was it really a jeffin mess and they guests really did deserve a negative comment ?
He couldn't make a claim because he didn't have photo evidence which is required.
Never take the word of a cleaner they expect to walk into a villa and the guest has left it spotlessly clean, if they did we wouldn't need the cleaners,

Currently, Thailand has dengue vaccine that works well for ones who are 9 – 45 years of age
First type – Vaccine for people who have previously been infected with dengue fever. This can be given to people 6 – 45 years old. In cases where there is no history confirming the infection, a blood test is required before vaccination. 3 doses are needed in total, each separated by 6 months.
Second Type – Vaccine for people who have and have not been infected previously. This can be administered to anyone 4 – 60 years old without the need for a blood test. There are 2 doses in total, each is separated by 3 months.
