As we enter high season it's getting worse anytime coming from Rawai I dont know where the traffic comes from

I almost forgot my wife had a cancer operation in Phuket International, that was 300k baht, that included the mamogram and test

Sorry I dont believe that, I was in hospital for 5 days with Dengue fever and in Phuket International no were near that, also my wife was in there once for 3 days in the most expensive rooms in the hospital was 50,000 Baht after a bike accident,

They would be very disappointed if they stayed around Kata and Karon for a couple of weeks, a couple of months back my daughter her husband and a 2 year old plus his parents stayed in a 5 star hotel in Karon, I tried to take them somewhere different every night it was becoming difficult and the standard of service and food was appalling in the local places we had to travel further away to places where we would go, it was making it more difficult with 3 Muslims and my daughter a veggie, the best eater was my grand daughter, 

One day in the hotel my grand daughter wanted a hotdog, 340 baht ++, come guys behave yourselves, I walked across the road to 7/11, 

The standard of hygiene is very poor they wanted to eat along the sea front one night in Karon, no refrigerators just dodgy ice boxes, no no we are not eating here we will drive somewhere else, 

It was the first time in a long time we have been out every night for a long time, as we eat at home mostly, 

The standards are way off I didnt realise how bad it was, I would feel sorry for first time tourist coming to Karon,

Who would buy a Prada handbag for $11,700 here, when you can get it for $4,800 in most world capitals? Same goes for wine. Who would spend $700 for a bottle of wine they could get for $125 at home.

It is referred to as self sabotage, or idiotic policy. An extreme lack of creativity forces retrograde politicians to become overly dependent on import taxes. Dumb and dumber. I was with a group of friends, some time ago, and we wanted to order a bottle of wine, at of one of those high end restaurants in the LeQuartier complex. It was Bella Rocca Restaurant. I asked about a 2011 Chianti they had on the list. I was told they were out of stock. I asked about a Barbaresco, at 2,600 baht. Again, out of stock. How about this Nebbiolo? Do you have the 2010, as stated on the list? No, we only have the 2015. OK, what is that wine like? Is it drinking well now? I do not know. Is there anyone here that is familiar with this wine list? No. Sorry sir. Wait a minute. You have 100 bottles on this list, ranging from 1200 baht to 10,000 baht per bottle, and NOBODY who works here knows anything about the wine? Are you serious? We all just looked at each other, and got up and walked out. We realized the restaurant was a pretender. And more than likely the food was marginal at best. It was all dressed up to look like a very nice Italian restaurant. But, it appeared to be only window dressing. High end tourists have little patience for that lack of quality and lack of service.

A mate of mine went into a Italian restaurant with his wife here in Phuket, he ordered a bottle of red wine, the girl came back and just plonk it on the table and walked away, Hey are you going to open that he said to her, 555

I like the odd bottle of Champagne it's more than double here in Thailand than in the UK, last Saturday we went out for a bite to eat and a couple of beers I had 2 pints of Hoegaarden at 300 baht a pint most places around here are charging about 360 baht, so how much tax is on that?

They don't mess about here, I was sat in a bar one evening when an argument was kicking off big time and this was only about 6 pm an whole bunch of Thai women and the girl behind the bar launched a full bottle of beer at them, luckily it didn't hit anyone it hit a car parked outside the bar.

Here in the south of Phuket it's not as busy as last year, I've just been speaking to a girl I know who works in a 5 star hotel she said they are not busy, she said last year she never got a day off, 

The local laundry she says the same she's busy but not like last year, 

Last Saturday we went to We Café by the time we were leaving around 7pm it was almost empty that's a huge place loads of staff, 

Wasn't it on here a couple of days ago the Chinese airlines cancelling flights, another flu epidemic on it's way we don't want them here 

She didn't find out until she went to report him missing, 

Make Phuket a duty free island drop the tax on beers and wine, could all be done in one day,
