Down on the border with Malaysia, thousands come in. Hat Yai for shopping and Kalok for the hookers.  South Thailand is mostly Muslim , Malaysia Muslim.. And Thai hooker hit the border area to service the guys coming in. They come into Thailand to get their groove on then head back to Malaysia..  Kinda like a mini Pattaya..

I think not many farang have stayed in them boarder areas, when they go to Sadao get their stamp and straight back out they should stick around for a few days and join in the fun, there used to be a place in Sadao it was either the Bangkok Pub or the Bangkok Bar, that place was rocking I've walked in there a few times "Farang Maa Lao"

I don't agree.. there are people who surely deserve the death penalty, but it should be done instead of a live sentence.. Whe was the last one executed in Thailand?? serial killers and so so be executed..

The last execution in the country was carried out on June 18, 2018. This means Thailand is halfway to becoming a de facto abolitionist, a status granted to countries that have not carried out any executions for 10 consecutive years

I bought a Nikon F100 back in 2003. It was significantly cheaper it the US than in Thailand, so I bought it when visiting the US.

    It was made in Thailand...

Lots of items are made in Thailand but cannot be sold here, something to do with the BOI

Why wouldn't they let you through with your car? Most people who cross the Malaysian border go by car and it's a very straightforward process. Only need the blue book and you're good to go.

Back in them days you  needed a special sticker on your car which was the translation of your number plate in to English and some other document from the transport department also being in English, maybe it's changed these days
