I wish they would bring back the beer festival event that was right in front of the Central World Mall. It used to take place every night for a few weeks every Nov-Dec. Live music, variety of beer and food. The prices were quite reasonable.
But, if I remember correctly, they haven't had it since 2019, and, so I am not hopeful.
They used to do that over 20 years ago and also have big football matches on live,

My wife came back from Bangkok last night around 9 pm at Phuket airport, she said it was quiet and the taxi driver also said it's been quiet not like last year,

Not looking good......how many Thais were in Israel?
I was thinking about this the other day. Why are these people taken to pick fruit or work on farms in Israel and not given a decent days pay fo a decent days work? Why do they have to pay their own airfares to go to the jobs and use brokers costing them hundreds of thousands of baht? Should a 'civilised' country like Israel being paying some sort of minimum wage and not leaving these poor people with huge debts?
quoted 30,000 before the war started, they get money more than they would in sticky rice land, one was being interviewed on TV he was on 85,000 a month

Yes, there have been clampdowns recently, or how did they find the tourists who, say, overstayed for a week?
if you are referring to the ones in Phuket the tourist were at the airport when they got arrested,
