You could stop your childish trolling, that would help everyone on the forum.

It´s strange. Just because I do not agree with you, I am stupid??? If that is the only thing you can end a conversation with I truly feel sorry for you. Can not be fun to be so bitter. Have life been hard on you?
For a man who spends 27 hours of every day at work, you sure seem to have a lot of spare time to troll this forum.

Yes, sometimes I work 1 year without any holiday. No, I do not get jaded, because I love my work. Stupid to chose something in life that you don´t like, right.
Seems like you have been doing that, though. That because you just think I back track or make up something. I guess that means you just chosen something you really don´t like just for get the daily bread. That why you don´t understand what I say.
One more thing. Why in the world do you feel the need to tell me to shut up? The only one that continues making stupid comments here is you, just out of the simple reason that you chosen something to do that you do not really like. I am sorry for that.Oh dear, you do get very angry when your stupidity is exposed, don't you. ????????

I think it´s better you walk in my shoes and learn what work is before you tell me I make stupid comments. I am fully aware of what I am posting about. I work 7 days a week for, in general between 10-15 hours depending on the work load. So, I guess Bert knocked on the wrong door. ????????
So you work all of those hours without a holiday and don't get jaded, eh?
I'm calling BS on your statement, you made a very stupid comment and you are now trying to backtrack.
Matzzon, it might be wise to shut your mouth now before you put your foot any further inside, dicksplash.

WOW! You must have been lazy in your work! Talking about having worked an terrible amount of 6 month and get jaded???? ???????? Seriously?
6 months of working 12 hours a day and 6 days a week without a real break.
Try walking in my shoes (or the shoes of most Thai workers) before making such a stupid comment.

You need to remember that many Hotels also closed and laid off staffs. Here in Bangkok the Lumpini Aetas Hotel closed completely as well as many others, and all of those folks have been unemployed and not working. Schools have been closed and teachers unemployed and students not attending for over 3 months. The service industry for the Malls, restaurants and stores had also been closed up with those folks laid off. People have just started to return to work. Factory workers, hospital staff and then other businesses were able to stay open with reduced hours, working from home and even some laid off. Re-think your statement that Thailand is more than just a bargirl/nightlife scene to also add in what I have written and maybe you will see the bigger picture of the reason why these extra holidays are a drain on society. As I stated in an earlier post, those companies where people worked the original canceled holidays should be paid for there time or given floating holidays to take as needed. To add extra days away from work for everyone after the workers and schools are just reopening is lunacy......
And in my very next post I stated 'Workers who have earned their holidays should not have them stripped away.'.
I also stated that the holidays should be floating.
In other words I am agreeing with you.
I was replying to a very crass and selfish post by 'Henryford', who thinks that people do not deserve holidays, unless it affects him.

Just accept that the pandemic made it impossible to have a Song Kran this year. Get over it!Just accept that the pandemic made it impossible to have a Song Kran this year. Get over it!
That is easy to say but when you have worked half of a year without a break you do start to get jaded.
Workers who have earned their holidays should not have them stripped away.
However, these holidays should be floating, giving the worker the choice in when they take their breaks.
This would be better for the workers and would also prevent disruptions to Thai industries.

What are you talking about, who has just had a 3 month holiday?
Where are you getting your information from, bargirls?
The majority of factories, shops and services in Thailand have been working normally.
Yes the overtime has been cut in some instances and hours have been changed to adjust to the night time curfew that was in place but as a whole people have been working full time.
In most cases in Thailand this means a 6 day week, so sometimes a holiday is needed.
Please understand that Thailand is more than just a bargirl/nightlife scene, for most of the people who live here life has had to go on.
Does the fact that hard working people deserve a holiday really offend you that much or is it a case that you don't give a damn about other people, so long as you have what you want.

Did you forget to leave me a 'sad' or 'confused' icon?
The answer was not a bump, it was a reply to the posters that got offended.
What a shame that there are people in this world that do not understand how a forum works.

There seems to be a lot of people angry about my statement (post # 5 in this thread).
However, in my post I named no names and I did not say (or even imply) that all drinkers are alcoholics.
Therefore, if you are an alcoholic and I offended you in any way, I apologize.
For those of you who are not alcoholics but still managed to get offended by a factual remark, I cannot apologize for hurting your feelings, as the remark wasn’t aimed at you.
If you get offended by this post you are a snowflake, in which case please feel free to ‘react’ with a sad or confused icon.

And if you're seriously ill in the ICU or any hospital bed and the doctor gives the 'nurse' professional instructions which are important in terms of serious impact on your recovery or to help preserve your life, but she has no idea what the doctor instructs because she has no professional training or knowledge, therefore the treatment or medications don't occur, would you be a bit concerned/angry?
She was posing for a photo, she wasn't attempting an appendectomy.

It would appear that the Covid-19 pandemic is now finished in Thailand, not one mask between the lot of them and no social distancing.

I eat the Thai / Isaan sausages here sometimes and the natural casings are great but I bought some before and really turned me off. They tasted strongly of bleach and impossible to tell how old they were. I really wouldn't enjoy eating them to be honest. Stupid I know but...By the way how is it possible to clean them? You would just about need to get a brush inside and give them a pull through.
They advertise collagen casings on Lazada but all from China. And it is a bit of a waste of time ordering from there at the moment.
As far as rusk goes...breadcrumbs no good? I was really hoping to avoid any filler if possible. By the way, had an Italian friend back home told me the secret to great Italian meatballs or rissoles is to soak normal bread in milk. Only a bit of milk just to dampen it and leave it sit for 30 mins or so. Really makes a difference to consistency, don't know what the milk actually does but makes a huge difference.
What about mace? I don't even know what Mace smells or tastes like but a lot of people make sausages say its a must
By the way how is it possible to clean them?
I soak mine for about an hour and then rinse them, never had any bleach taste.
breadcrumbs no good?
Breadcrumbs would probably work, I used rusk as I wanted to get the consistency/taste of mine as close to butcher made Cumberland sausages.
What about mace?
Mace is the made from the outer case of the nutmeg seed, so the taste is similar.
As such, nutmeg can be used in the place of mace but you .
Please note that mace is hard to find in Thailand, I use mace for other recipes and I had to get mine online.

Lazada have both natural & synthetic casings available.
When I first started making my own sausages I used synthetic casings but later changed to natural casings.
The difference is quite major.
Even after pricking them the synthetic casings split very easily when you are cooking them and the twists (joins) that you add to make the sausages individual come undone.
Also, the synthetic casings have the plastic type texture that you find on the skins of 7-11 hot dog sausages.
It really is worth using the natural casings and steering clear of the synthetic casings.
A good recipe for Cumberland's:
1kg mince
5 tsp sage
2 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper
5g nutmeg
100g rusk
Tip:
The rusk needs to be mixed with water before adding the other ingredients.
Watch a few YouTube videos about homemade sausage making before trying it yourself.
To make the rusk:
Ingredients:
• 450 g all purpose flour
• a pinch of salt
• 5 tspns baking powder
• 185 -250 ml water
Method:
Pre heat oven at 230°C
Mix dry ingredient into a bowl
Start adding the water to make a dough
Roll out dough and put on the baking tray
Put in the oven for 10 minutes
Drop oven heat to 190°C
Cut pastry into ½” strips
Put in the oven for another 10 minutes
Check if dry enough, if not give then an extra 5 to 10 minutes
Leave the dough to cool down in the oven
Blitz in the blender.
Post up a few pictures of your creations before you eat them all. ????

It may be ugly, but I bet millions want it and would watch it.
Most people in the world cannot name the current heavyweight champ.
Are you joking?
Just because you do not know the name of the current heavyweight champ(s) doesn't mean that the rest of the world do not either.
For your information, Anthony Joshua is the WBA, IBF & WBO belt holder and the linear and WBC champion is Tyson Fury.
Tyson Fury is a larger than life character and their rivalry and potential forthcoming match up has been all over the sport pages for months now.
You really would have to have no interest in boxing to not know this.

Less medals than a Thai school teacher but he's a knight ????
Many years ago I was working at a language school and they sent me to a Thai government (primary) school which they had a contract for.
At the end of my first week the primary school contacted my employers and asked for another teacher.
I had upset the head mistress by continually asking her which war she got her medals in (she was wearing about 15 medal ribbons on her uniform).
I had to earn mine, so I was not about to keep my mouth shut.
BTW, congratulations to Sir Tom and thank you for your long service to the

I have recently started taking a new medicine called ‘Snake Oil’.
Seems to be working quite well at thee moment, as I am currently exhibiting no signs of the Covid19 virus.
It is also good for all other viruses/illnesses/injuries but apparently not too good for the snakes, as they have to be boiled to extract this magical oil.

How can you possibly consider sick days or maternity leave as free days.
As for Monkhood, please show me a company in Thailand that pays their salary of their workers while they are ordained.
According to the BOI website https://www.boi.go.th/tir/issue/200506_16_6/14.htm#:~:text=An%20Overview%20of%20Thailand's%20Labor%20Regulations&text=Overtime%20compensation%20must%20be%20paid,one%20year%20of%20consecutive%20work. 'Employees are entitled to 13 national holidays per year, plus a minimum of six days of vacation after one year of consecutive work. Thirty annual paid sick days is standard, and an employer may require a doctor’s certificate for sick leave of three days or more. Female employees are entitled to 90 days of maternity leave, including 45 days of paid leave'.
Where are the personal leave days? I can't seem to find those on a web search nor on my standard employment contract.
Why don't you count death, as I believe that you get extra days off if you die.
