  1. I don't really care about the situation in the USA. Australia is rapidly becoming a nation of bludgers totally dependent on the government. Look at how the NDIS " providers" have exploded. I know one bloke that takes his mate out fishing for the weekend. The mate is in a wheelchair after he crashed his car whilst drunk. The NDIS pay $80 an hour so they can smoke dope and get pissed while fishing. You think that is ok? I don't Child support cuts out for a couple when their combined income is around $500,000. Ridiculous amount. Why would they need subsidised child care on that wage. Work hard and save money and you are demonised as some sort of entitled person. I don't envy the rich as they worked for their money, nobody gave it to them. Sure someone's grandparents may have worked hard and the money comes down through the generations. I see nothing wrong with that. They also employ people. Farmers now rely on backpackers to work for them. The city based bludgers will not work, and why should they when the government gives out free money.
  2. Why mention 4 years? Federal election cycle is nominally 3 years. So 3,6,9 etc
  3. How is it better? So we can all be equally poor? The politics of envy is a very sad state to be in.
  4. The Greens and Labor. What a match made in hell. Won't allow a gold mine because of a lizard or frog but happily destroy pristine forests for wind turbines. Hippocrites.
  5. Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard. Hasn't been a decent Labor leader since Bob Hawke. That was the last time I voted Labor. Didn't vote for Keating. Nasty but of gear that bloke. Not a bad treasurer but not a leader.
  6. Every technological advance ends up as weapons of war.
  7. Australia will rue the day they elected the liar in the Lodge for another term. Power prices will go through the roof along with increasing power failures and groceries will become more expensive along with pretty much everything else. I will be paying for a student loan I never wanted, never signed up for and receive no benefit from. The Voice will be implemented by stealth against the wishes of the vast majority of Australians. It's great the Greens copped a hiding, communists in disguise. Looks like that weasel Bandt has lost his seat - great results. Poor fellow my country.
  8. Ask the Don, apparently he's going to one after he gets out of treatment for his alcoholism.
  9. Except storms are not getting more frequent or more intense. Quite the opposite in fact.
  10. Do a wheelie on a scooter in Thailand and the might of Asean Now posters scream for deportation. Double standards?
  11. A phenomenon that has been pushed by governments to ensure the populace is brainwashed into accepting multiculturalism when in reality the human condition favours tribalism. Go against the multicultural agenda and you are demonised as a racist. All from the WEF playbook.
  12. Being racist, as in being a bad thing, is a western brainwashed construct.
  13. Depends on the country. Australia is a lot more open to people from other cultures. My wife has been accepted without issues and we live in a very small town.
  14. Air Asia now require power banks to be carried on your person and not in the overhead locker.
  15. As a former banker he may have spent his life watching fellow Brits suffer...interest rates, mortgages etc. Now it's his turn to feel the pain.
  16. And on any flight into Oz from Bangkok there is an additional security check at the entrance to the gate. I have seen people lose bottles of booze that they have purchased at duty free on numerous occasions. It has nothing to do with the normal security scans that everyone must go through before passport control. Every bag/ backpack etc is inspected by hand. Duty free booze can be purchased, but must be in a sealed bag and delivered to the gate after the bag search. Unfortunately not every knows this and can lose a couple of hundred bucks of fine booze.
  17. Quoting 3 lakh!! 300,000 kyat. Didn't ask if that was short time, long time rental or outright ownership!
  18. I only wish I did!!
  19. There's usually a terminal where you punch in your phone number. No need to use your phone at all.
  20. I wouldn't go to a war zone. Even before the war Mandalay was a dump. No way I'd live there. The Burmese guys I worked with warned to be very careful at night time due to the stabbings.
  21. About 8 years ago at what they call a fashion show they were asking 300 USD.
